I use snaps on most of my baits as well. Googan spinnerbaits come with a small green band around the same spot. Is that what those are for?

I’d agree for price and longevity extremely good. My favorite is the Daiwa SV103 built off the old Zillion frame. I can skip and fish this in wind way better than my curado e. Just was not out very long. It’s a tank of a reel too.

In the old days that used to have twisted line ties on spinnerbaits. This was bad as your line could get wrapped through and around the spinner bait Causing line breakage. NOT GOOD This is why all quality modern spinnerbaits are made with an OPEN line tie. With a cinch down knot Even if your line does go between the skirt and the blades and get wrapped on the line tie, It will straighten itself out especially if you catch a fish.

Great interview dude! That Freeloader reminds me of a Damiki Armor Shad mixed with a Spunk Shad. Haven’t tried the Freeloader yet but it looks dope. I give props to JW for giving respect to other baitmakers.
