I was 15 when Secretariat won the Triple Crown. I watched the Kentucky Derby each year since 1970. In 1973 I followed him through the Triple Crown and am so happy to relive the memories.

Have I ever seen more perfection on anything then I see in secretariat? No God gave us only one perfect horse foaled on March 30, 1970 and he became our wonder. As close as one could get to a masterpiece.

I love this horse so much, to the point where I bet him for so much money.Then he got run down by Arrogate ,but redeemed himself in the Breeder cup,with the monster speed figure.Gun Runner was a very tough horse to down and his long whined stride was impeccable.Now he has backed up his Hall of Fame breeding ability at the stud farm and truly thrown the Candy Ride speed runners.

I wonder if Jesus rides him now.
