I tint my own rigs. I just buy it on the roll. My trick is a high quality blade in my knife, a good straight edge, and a good squeeze with wrapped edge to prevent scratches. If I have application fluid that’s good but if not I may add a small drop of dish soap in my spray bottle. It does take a little nerve & not worth it to do it for a friend.

I am scheduled for laminectomy L3-L5 next week. 71 year old here, had two heart surgeries, and one previous laminectomy 25 years ago. I am diabetic but controlled on pills (no insulin). I have been a couch potato for over two years now due to weakness in my legs (have taken several falls and sciatica mostly when I stand over a few minutes ( been using a cane for a year). Needless to say, I’m totally out of shape even though I’ve had outpatient and in home physical therapies. Doctors say I need to do something in order to avoid further and irreversible damage. I did get 3 opinions and they all said the same. My wife takes me to various doctor appointments and to church on Sunday because I no longer drive so she is accustomed to going the extra mile regarding my care. I am looking forward to getting my life back by being able to work around the home and yard. I’m looking forward to providing my wife with some relief by not being my 24x7 nurse

I like what you have done with the engine. I’m building a vortec 350 for my 53 Chevy but trying to make it look like an old school 283. Has the valve cover set up with pcv valve worked out ok how you have it? Are those the PML valve covers?

The chain just kept coming off, but the last time it came off it bent one of the links. I ended up returning it. I'm going to get one from a different manufacturer like DeWalt.

I was just looking for a video on how to install the chain because mine randomly came off. Thanks for the tips on how to prevent it.

Nice tractor, been thinking of buying one myself. I'd be a little worried about a rubber hose on the exhaust pipe. If it should start a fire, all the plastic on modern tractors makes fire much harder to put out.🙂

I own two of these beauties.. Mine are the later model NAA's which were called the 600/601 and 800/801 series tractors.. All these tractors evolved from the Jubilee(1953)... The later models just had improvements like a bigger motor; called the "Red Tiger" from 134 ci to 172 ci.; larger clutch and 5 speed tranny's..The 601 series were called "Workmasters" and the 801 series were named Powermaster. The 601 tractors had models numbered 601,621,631 641 depending on whether they had live PTO , 4 or 5 speed trany etc. The Jubilee and Naa tractors had rear end axles like the 2N,9N and 8n tractors..The 600 and 800 series did not have large axle nuts on the end of the axle shafts..There are plenty companies selling repro parts for these ie; "Old Tractor Parts, Steiner Tractor Parts.. The tractor you have looks very restorable.. It has a modern 2 wire GM alternater conversion and will definitely melt the 6v coil.. The starter does not need to be changed as it can handle the 12v; it will just spin nice and fast.

I just purchased this air compressor and looks like Harbor Freight added extra 1-2inches of slack to that braided air hose. The floor model in store had the older hose on it.

I bought the atlas 40 V chainsaw and it is awesome, I’ve used it twice now but I cut over 70 trees all different diameters, I go into the back country quite a bit and my last two trips because of the wildfires timber has fallen and blocked the areas I go into, I spent two entire days cutting timber in that chainsaw was awesome I bought the batteries that are 40/80 split And they seem to last quite a long time, I was able to get chains at my local small engine repair store they just matched up chains but I recommend this little chainsaw it works very well and especially for my situation and having extra batteries on hand really helps I purchased four batteries. The chain does fall off possibly because of chain stretch and I’m still running the same blade after all this timber I have cut I don’t know yet if my aftermarket chains will be better, I recommend just checking it while you’re using it if the chain does come off.

Great video! I bought the 80v version and swapped the chain and bar with a 20" husqvarna farm tough bar and chain. I had to modify the bar a little so the oil hole would line up, but it works great!

If you still have hesitation issues after installing stiffer metering rod springs, there's a good chance your timing needs to be adjusted. Since you're running a performace cam, you can throw the factory timing specs out the window. Keep advancing the timing until it pings under load or chugs when starting, then back it off a few degrees. Messing around with the vacuum advance helps quite a bit too. Make sure it's actually working for 1. Next, try a combination of port vacuum vs venturi vacuum ports. In my experience, port vacuum seems to work better in a performace application but each engine is a little different. If you have an HEI distributor, most vacuum advance units are adjustable. There's an allen headed screw inside the vacuum port than can be turned to adjust it.

The AVS2 carburetor is hands down the best of all of the Carter AFB / Edelbrock Performer series carbs only for 1 reason. It's the only one that had annular booster / venturies which atomize the fuel WAY better than the traditional style venturies, resulting in more power and fuel economy. It's about as close as you can come to fuel injection without all the headaches and high prices
