Tom Gilbert is a compost farmer in Stannard, Vermont, a rural town outside Hardwick, Vermont where much of this film takes place. Though his farming philosophy is profound in its own right, his philosophy on the human bonds we need to get through climate change is even more important right now. The basic daily maintenance of a farm is busy enough, but if you didn't make the extra effort to carry out traditions and gather with friends and family, life wouldn't be very joyful, would it? Very Pleasing - Plant Spirit Dyeing with Jennifer Johnson
มุมมอง 1.8K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's a little preview of what I've been filming lately. Jennifer didn't know I was recording audio at this moment but I got her permission to share this! I felt it was a moment of excitement that revealed her passion for her craft. Jennifer describes it as “wear your medicine” and I can’t wait to share more about that. She will be the feature of my August episode! Her farm and business is cal...
First Cut - Picking Up Hay at Black Dirt Farm | Tom Gilbert
มุมมอง 2605 ปีที่แล้ว
With the industrialization of farming, we haven’t just lost safe, nourishing food. We’ve lost the bonds that were made around food. Not just in the eating of it, but in the growing of it. It’s a whole other layer of nourishment, and one we are foolish if we think we don’t need to be healthy. There is something so powerful about the two things that come together here: raising a crop that ultimat...

Yes, it is "Christ is Risen from the dead, trampling down death by death and on those in the tombs bestowing life," in Georgian!
That was absolutely Devine!!!!

♥️♥️♥️
So beautiful and inspiring. The fabric has to be dyed before or after ecoprinting on it? Greetings from Italy
Thank you for watching! Jennifer would dye some fabric before printing but it isn’t necessary. She added more dye after in some cases. Divertiti!

Parchment paper

Hi I enjoyed watching your video and found it fascinating. Did you use grease proof paper? Thank you for sharing your wonderful skill s
Hermoso!🌿🍂🍁
my daughter and I are really interested in trying to work with wood. We're in a small town in Africa, not so much choice here. What kind of wood do you use? or what type or piece must we look out for?
Hi thank you for watching! Annie can be contacted on her instagram account, and she might not have the exact knowledge you need but she would be happy to talk to you! instagram.com/oh_dilly_dilly
@@landfoodcraft thanks.
I believe it all starts with growing soil. I can't make food grow, plants grow by themselves, once given the right circumstances and soil.
Hi!! Love the result. What type of paper is the one you are using to roll the fabric with?
I do not know exactly but it seemed very similar to parchment paper. That might be what it was.
what are the fabrics material you use in this video?
Silk
Esplicaria en idioma español ,como se realiza gracias
How fix the colour
What type of fabric is used?
Awesome Ma'am ❤️
Is that cotton you are using ti roll the plants?
Very beautiful. I wanted to know the whole process that she doesn't explain in the video. I'm from Brazil here there are many beautiful plants too. Thanks
what a beautiful fabric
I’m just in love with the background sounds in this. Maybe consider doing asmr videos too 😊
Thank you! I am hoping to release more soon and I have been trying to decide whether to go down the background music road or not.
