thx bro I learned a lot today
Awesome bro!!
Use proper CAD for industrial Design... Blender is awesome for animations and renders. If you are just having fun, sure you might use blender. If you want to do professional work, use something such as SolidWorks or Rhino for manufacturing and parametric modelling.
I use both! My university degree is in Mechanical Engineering and I’ve been using SolidWorks for years, I’ve actually been considering making videos about that as well. It definitely is more applicable for manufacturing etc., but Blender can do a lot for the design phase, especially for making concept renders IMHO. Let me know if you wanna see some SolidWorks videos!
Subbed, Make more of this kinda tuts 👍
More coming! 🤝🤝
can you rename to magical keybard
i hate you so much
What is this comment 😂
where can i get the finished version
I can’t remember if I have a fully textured model available, let me check and I’ll get back with you! Shoot me a message on Instagram
At 11:20 another way would be to go into edit mode with your 3d cursor in the center and press alt+E and select “spin” and then set the amount you want
Yep good thought
Congratulations on your master's degree!
Thanks so much!!! 🤝
How you managed topology.. and shading ?
Definitely! I paid for the quad remember addon, and also just knowing some typology tricks from watching modelers
did you used any CAD software for modeling ?
This video was made with their asset which was already modeled! But yes, i have a mechanical engineering background so I use SolidWorks pretty frequently
gj man 🤟
Thanks bro 🤝
Oh also one more quick tip. At the 18:00 mark you can put your 3d cursor right in the middle of the spot you want the button to go and then select 3d cursor as pivot point and duplicate the semi circle and then press S+X+-1 and it’ll put it directly mirrored where you want.. if that makes sense
Yep! I knew that’s how it should be done, I forget sometimes in these videos lol. Keep the tips coming it helps out people reading the comments!!! 🤝
At the 16:00 marker instead of the brush tool you can shift+G and select similar face angels
Niceee love that
LOVE THIS!!! THANKS A LOT MAN! NEW SUB :)))
Let’s gooooo! Glad u enjoyed!
love it
Glad you enjoyed!! What video do u want to see next?
I love you, man. I've learned so much from you-keep up the great work!
Yooo glad you enjoyed it! What kind of video do u want next?
@@Nickel3D I'd love to see a phone model, like a Motorola, paired with a chrome keychain. I often come across these on Instagram, and they always look great. Thank you!
@ awesome! Shoot me an example on IG so I can know what you’re looking for
@@Nickel3D Sure. I did check your messages!
Wait the .STL file for the switches looks nothing like the ones you have in the video. They are so much more boxy/chunky. Did you like scale them down to be flat?
Completely forgot that i did that! Yes, I scaled them to fit under the keys. Great catch
thanks so much man is there a place we can show our final renders to you?
Shoot them to me on IG! I respond to all messages 🤝
@ okay. I’ll send it once I’m done rendering
can we expect an animation of this product ? also how to present to this client can you make a video on that. BDW congrats on completing your's masters degree
Yoooo thanks! And yes I should be able to make an animation video for this one
Keep up the amazing work ❤
Thank you 🙏🏻🔥
If all the designs were like this, the world would be a better place. Congratulations this is not a product but a work of art.
Thank you very much! Teenage Engineering doesn’t miss, love recreating their designs
I always wonder how they get commissions for product visualization... where they post their portfolios and their work so people can see their skills and hire them. Sorry for my English...
I have a script written for this exact video but I haven’t recorded it yet! Hope to share more soon 🤝
Hi I'm ur new subscriber and the only reason I subscribe is for the quality u are giving and proper knowledge which we as a beginner are seeking on internet ! We need part 3 soon also for final camera animation & product Anima
Thank you so much! I’m very glad you enjoyed, I am really enjoying making new videos for you guys! I hope to make a Part 3 for this one
Congratulations on finishing your master's degree! I do have one question for you, would you be able to recommend some design courses or anything else for people wanting to focus on 3D in general?
Thanks very much!! Shoot me a message on IG. 3D is such a wide range that I’d want to know some specifics about what you’re looking to learn 🤝
I'm glad the part 2 is finally here, it is time get to work again
Sorry it took so long! Tag me on IG when you get done 🔥
bro can you make course for product modeling and visualize
I hope to one day!
Bro i love your content
Thanks bro!!

Glad you enjoyed!!
Waiting for part 2
Hope to release the next part tomorrow!
Grate tutorial, but I got stuck at 10:16 with the loop cuts. They wouldn't make hole cuts in the x orientation .can somebody help me, please?
Can you take some screenshots and send them to me on IG? I’ll try to help you out
when can we expect the part 2
Coming ASAP. been absolutely swamped but it’s almost ready
How are the next parts coming along? Happy to see you back on YT Nickel!!
Second part coming ASAP, been a crazy season!
how to download image texture ?
Download for free from my Patreon! Link in description
I did this but for a still image rendered at 4K Blender split up the render into 4 tiles describing how the rendering process went for me It started with the bottom left showing the he and the first 2 l’s Lmao
Yea if you render it very large blender breaks it up into tiles, you can change how many tiles in your render settings. Look up which tiling size is best for your graphics card
These are not the tutorials we want, these are the tutorials we need.
More coming!
Great tutorial, can't wait to continue for the next video
Almost ready to publish it
Bro you are amzing, i from medellin colombia, and your work is increible
Yoooooo thanks bro! Glad you enjoyed the video, stay tuned for more
your tutorials are perfect keep going bro but you have a problem with the SEO optimization your score is 10/100
Thanks bro! Shoot me a message on IG, I haven’t messed with my SEO at all
To apply bevel at 30:50 turn off "clamp overlap" in the geometry of bevel modifier. And give very small bevel amount.
Good tip 🤝
Revisiting this and finally completing my project. Thank you again
Glad you enjoyed!! Send me the result on IG
What is your gpu my friend?
I have a 4070 Ti! It’s been amazing for a fraction of the cost of a 4080 or 4090
this is a wonderful video!!) I understood a lot of things and it became much easier to work in the program) thank you for such a high-quality video!!)💗
Awesome!!! Glad you enjoyed 🤝
Great tutorial ❤❤ waiting for ligthing part can explain your render settings. Thankyou ❤
Sure thing!! New video should be out on Friday
@@Nickel3D waiting...😁❤
where is part 2🤔😇
I wish we could get a Product Visualisation Masterclass Course from you.. It's so well communicated and precise that it's easy to follow and learn in the process. I really do hope we get a Intermediate to Advance level course from you. I'd definitely pay for that. Cheers man! 😃
It’s something I’ve definitely considered! I enjoy making free content so beginners can get started, but I definitely would enjoy doing a way more advanced course covering all aspects of product visualization, client outreach, how to make money, etc. So maybe like this comment if you’d be interested in that!
Love the tutorial when is the next one coming? !!
Thanks so much!! Should be out Friday 🤝
Where is the image you used for the design?
They are available for download for free off my Patreon profile! The link is in the description
