....well today was a bit rough......final flight home.....3 hours and 42 minutes in the air and the winds were blowing me around like a rag doll!! A tough headwind all the way home dragged the flight our and with strong winds on my arrival to Oshawa, resulting in the most unstabalized approach I can remember......I probably should have gone around....but saved the landing.....not smooth, but di...

.....the third leg in my cross-country IFR journey from Toronto, Canada to Jacksonville, Florida. Was a mix of challenges from a 30 - 40 kt headwind to cloud and some turbulence (mild). ....another trip to the USA.....this is the first leg of a three flight journey from Toronto, Canada to Jacksonville, Florida. Quick jump across Lake Ontario to clear customs at Buffalo International (KBUF). Super windy day for me...all day in cruise, and a 35 knot headwind on final approach. Flying home from New York City with lots of cloud and bumps getting out of New York airspace to cruise. Had to climb to 10,000' to get above the builds ups and was thankfully offered a more direct route shaving 30 minutes off my planned flight route. Well....another first for me....travelling from Cleveland to New York City (Westchester County KHPN). Great flight, but the last 30 minutes was super intense in New York airspace....being passed off from Boston Approach/Center to New York Approach and having my flight plan amended multiple times. Was barely able to stay ahead of it, but got it done in the end. Hope you enjoy watching.....EYZ
