I own the dark (shorter) now discontinued Screen. The mounts are all the same.. for all three sizes. Top Quality
Oh baby. What? 😂
7 men one barbie...
Hello, I'm glad that everything is OK with you. I see that you have new equipment in your bike. Maybe make a video about it. Greetings from Poland 😀👍
Welcome back!! Gongrats from Portugal! ✌🏻
Merci
HANDLEBARS=RIDE STEERING WHEEL=DRIVE GREENHORN.😤
Maaan, are there any nice roads around there? Only straight roads? Must be so boring... ☹️
How you doing GM ? Still riding the RS? I was recently buying and it came down to one but decided on the S1000XR - how you been?
No such thing as a 2017 model 13 to 16 only
dont ever take covidvacs
CON-KOR.
All i can hear is clunk clunk on down shifts. Sounds like my 08 but newer.
Ahh cool, we live like 15 minutes away from each others! World is a small place, nice to see someone from my region doing some great stuff, we'll see us on the road for sure! Nice bike and great channel!👌✌(P.s. I ride in your area almost every time I am alone and get the urge for a little ride!😜)I just hope you are doing alright, since you haven't been doing anything here for over a year...
Ton français est très bon mon cher, i just found your channel this morning, and already watched many of your videos. Let me say, you do some good stuff! We are neighbours, I am in Dorion, we have about the same motorcycling history, i am 50 so you are 2 years older than me...Anyways, take care and keep up the beautiful work, I will look up to it for sure!
I put 25k miles on a 2011 concours 14.. incredible bike.. really fast and reliable. Now I'm on a triumph trophy se and I hate this thing.. plagued with dumb electrical issues, poor idling and poor dealer help.
One suggestion ok may be 2. Complete your comments and Prepare for the topic you discuss.
Had an 05 RTSE, 07 RT, 98 1100s and currently a 2013 R1200R Classic (I've had and tracked 5 RR's, one a 2015 I took the DDC off and installed Ohlins) I much prefer the telelever front ends, they just plain suit the way I ride as well as the crap roads in Australia, I had no problem scraping the rocker covers on any of the boxers... Oh and a 1974 R90s... Rode Harleys for years, even had two M8 engined ones a few years ago and after riding BMW's for around 12 years I don't care how cool a Harley looks any more, these specially my 2005 R1200RTSE was the best, it looked like it weighed 400kg and blew everyone away.
Nice car. New subscriber from South Africa. What does it mean to “lease” a car? Is it like a long-term rental?
What led turn signal bulbs did you use?
im just curious as to what your next bike(s) was/were.
I picked up a 2020 R1250RS, and I am loving it!
Very interesting 👍
had 12 Harleys now 2016 f6b friggin love it. first leg 8 hrs and I didn't want to stop.
Gs or rt or africa twin or ktm 1290?
bmw went to common fork in 2015.....does that mean the proprietary fork they were using before is not that good?
Hi, great review. Which handbars you installed and how they worked? Cheers, Slawek
Hi Grumpy, Is it spring in Canada already? Have you gone on a motorcycle ride yet? Greetings from Poland
Hi! Not quite yet, still around freezing temp and snow here and there
@@GrumpyManHi, how are you ? Too bad there are no movies 😢
Its missing a vídeo from This year!! Congrats from Portugal!
Where might I find somewhere to rent one?
Je vois que tu parles le français, alors je te dis Bravo(!) pour cet essais qui est excellent! C'est une bonne analyse que tu as fait. Ça me donne encore plus le goût de faire l'achat d'un F6B!
2014 was de eerste Rt1200lc
Well I see this was some time ago, but may be of use for others, motoscan app and an OBD2 scanner plus a cable adapter, both from Aliexpress for less than $15 for both, plus $30 for the app, will do everything you'll need.
This or speed twin 1200? I can't decide
GM, where are you? Are you not releasing anymore vids?
Hiya! I am still around, but this season I haven’t ridden a ton, some health issues.. next year will be full of videos though, promise!
@@GrumpyMan I know how it is, 8 surgeries in the past year. Now my wife doesn’t want me to get a bike, thinks I’m too weak to ride.
The concours is an attack bike, ready to go any second. That's why I love my 2012 kawasaki concours abs 1400 bad review for such a bike. It's painful
Why a GSA or RT for next bike?! Can you compare this with GSA/RT ? Regards, M.
Congratulations. My BMW cases cost $1200 from the dealer in Ottawa. Good choice on the Dynamic Motorrad bulbs. They are excellent. Have had them on 2 bikes.
Test rides are so weird in the USA, I would hate this follow the leader procession thing they insist on doing, where I live they chuck you the keys and say just bring it back by closing time
Just watched your 20km and 30km videos of this bike. Looking at buying the exact same bike, same year, same color. Local seller is asking $10,500 USD including top and side cases, Premium pkg w/Dynamic ESA, and bark busters. It has 14,600 km on it. Any thoughts on what's a fair price to pay? Am I wise to buy one? Or look for something else? Will use it for leisure riding, running errands, probably won't put a ton of miles on it. Used to have an R1100S and that was too sporty for casual riding.
That seems like a good price. It’s a great all around bike, I did all kinds of rides with mine.. I liked it so much I bought another! Well, an RS, but same awesome motor
@@GrumpyMan Cool, thanks much. Just made an appointment for a test ride tomorrow morning. Stopping off at the bank on the way there. LOL BTW Montreal is my favorite city in the world. I'm sure I'll take a ride up there someday. I rode from San Francisco to Anchorage on my R1100S in 4 days. Man were my neck and wrists sore after that! (Was resting my chin on the tank going 141 mph almost the entire way across BC.)
The cost of the plate here in quebec is too expensive for 6 months of riding.Beside im a pround owner of a Kawasaki Concours and with all the change ive made on it (raise handlebars,RUSSEL tournig seat, ATLAS cruise control,Vance&Hines slip) on, its a joy to ride on highways or twistie road fast comfy reliable no chain maintenance and it does cost an arm tom plate it what more do you want. GREAT video man keep on riding and be safe.
Extra ✌️👍🏍️
the 1400 is the best go back to bike ever. the cb1000r is an agery bike yhat want to sell retribution.
your obvious a D bag. there's nothing "heavy" about the clutch. something is out of adjustment.
Can you lane split on this motorcycle?
You probably can, but honestly lane splitting is illegal in Canada so I didn’t try
I very rarely split lanes and the mirrors are wide. All it takes is some jerk to quick-switch lanes at 10 mph... Be careful!
Thank You! I have a 2015 R1200R and that made up my mind on which slip-on to get.... Appreciate it
Hey GM, hope you're doing better. Thanks for sharing your videos
Hey GM, welcome back. Sorry to hear of your health woes, though it sounds like you're well on the mend. Good for you to get out on the bike, no doubt. The weather's definitely picking up here now. Looking forward to getting out for a leisure ride later this week.
Thanks for that! Ride safe!
Just fitted the exhaust side pannier mount. My r1250 has a nut welded to the exhaust to you dont use the included nut and washer. However the manual says the mount should be on the inside of the exhaust mount. Mine only fits on the outside of the exhaust mount (just like your video). Rubbish instructions.
Bmw always rips you off with servicing and optionals
The main difference with pther naked bikes is the weight..
Hi Grumpy, How are you ? There will be new movies?
I’m doing great! Thanks! For sure once winter is over , also I have a few from the fall that I need to post..
@@GrumpyMan It's good that everything is ok, in Poland we are also waiting for the end of winter to start my R1200R 😁👍
