Was it hard? Any tools I should get specifically for this? I was really curious about the jack and jack stands you use and how you set it up to drop the transmission on a jack… how long did it take and is their anything special I need to do to lubricate the new or old parts before putting it back together?
Nah man it was actually surprisingly easy. Did it on a set of regular jack stands at max height. Biggest thing is get the car up as high as possible. I also used a regular floor jack to drop the transmission with a plank of wood as you can see in the video. Bleeding it is the hardest part but just follow the service manual and should be fine
@@90sNissan 👍🏻 thank you! I really need to get this done and the dealership wants to charge a ridiculous amount. It looks fairly simple, I just never have done anything like this. Most I’ve done was an intake, exhaust, crank pulley, and driveshaft on a brz I used to have.
@@shawnb50 wait why are you changing the csc? I bought another 370z and it had the standard sloppy csc and sometimes would be hard to change gear. I drained the fluide and put 600f boiling temp brake fluid, wrapped the catalytic converter thats right next to the clutch line with exhaust wrap and covered the clutch line with heat reflective sleeve. Now my clutch is perfectly fine without changing the csc. The biggest problem with these is the clurch fluid overheats from the cat converter being right next to the clutch line
@@90sNissan the csc went out and my clutch pedal doesn’t come up and it doesn’t go into gear. I want the z1 elimination kit but that is on back order right now.
@@90sNissan any advice on parts I should get with it to replace other than just that one part. I was going to just get the oem csc throw out bearing.
This is a funny filter i cant stop 😂😂😂 i love this video first ever funny video
Dinner😋
It's so cute and it also looks like a baby cow
Looks fake ai
Yummy
Dont eat goat
Thats sick😂
There too swag😂
The owners are putting them up and down
Relatable I be doing this from now on instead when I have Milo now
Is that milo made in malaysia?
OK ME TRY NOW BUYING 'MOM: HEY USE A NORMEL SPOON 'ME: NO! 'MOM: TAKES THE milo 'me:takes second serving spoon 'mom bye i'm going to paris
whats milo
wooooow
What is that?
How is this a life hack?
Let's speed run diabetes
That's not a spoon
it is, but you're not even gonna be able to mix that amount in properly.
What song is that?
nice video, do you have a complete parts list by chance?
Another way to do it without destroying the integrity of the parts is to use a hardened chisel and a hammer or mallet to make a indented line in the headless bolt then you can undo it with a flathead screwdriver.
Every body pull out ur grinder we all Cary in our back pocket
where did you get your headlights blacked out man?
Theyre not blacked out theyre the oem black housing headlights
Not bad for a young man with the barest of tools. Keep at it!
Will stock jack in the truck be enough to hold up the bucket spring cause all I have in the main jack to jack up the car
Yes you can use it but it would be easier to buy a $50 jack and save the hassle
what size wheel spacers?
looks good btw
20mm front 25mm rear. Should have gone 25 all round
Any reason for the spacers ?
Nissan? All talk
How are u going to start the car without the ignition in though ?
This is the dangerous ratchet way though. You shouldn’t have to use a grinder lol. You can make an indent on the bolt with a flathead and hammer, and then hit that indent/ notch with the flathead/ hammer to turn the bolt.. lol I’ve done it like this on quite a few steering lock deletes.
hows it been holding up? planning to boost my 95 r33 with a de
Still going strong mate. Been about 3 years i even turned the boost up to 20psi and its fine. Check my latest video
Got rid of the R32?
Nah bro still got it
@@90sNissan Hell yeah man
I have ecolpi xr6 so can upgrade loud exhaust
I did that and it's still stuck
Thank you so much for your help😊🙌 I got frustrated for a min cuz I didn't know what to do
Just throw the spare parts in the trash....good as new!
I’ve got this myself and I’m really happy with it. With a cat delete it’s going to sound amazing. And not over bearing like every other exhaust with no cats
Yeah recently got a cat delete and it is heaps better i found just the catback was a bit too quiet
i know im really late to this video, but i cant wait to turbo my r33 gts :)
A video that actually told me how to get the steering lock and delete it. No other video on TH-cam shows this unique technique. THANKS
Nice car my friend
Can I T the vtc oil drain for turbo oil drain.
U can but its not ideal
@@deadlychoppa7791ceith a 10A instead of the stock one at vct drain. So it got got more room to drain.
Have seen it done. Just heard not ideal with the amount of oil flowing thru your turbo. I was going to do it but ended up getting a sump that already had a fitting for drain welded to it
If only everyone make videos like this without useless crap.
to the 17 thumbs down.........this video shows that if u slot the bolts as the kid does they can easily turn.MOST PEOPLE spend ten times longer hacking away at the whole bracket or thru the bolts with a grinder.... this is why the human race cant haven nice things.. hating on a kid showing us something very useful.... hang thy heads in shame. who did you help today..........
I agree 100%!!!! I am pretty sure that not only did he just educate me on why my steering wheel locked up after putting in a new ignition but what a clever solution for those funky bolts!!!
What turbo did you use ?
Hypergear rb25 highflow
hey mate interested in selling your r32 ?
What car the motor from?
R33 gts series 1
This is an rb25de non turbo ?!?! Looking to do the same on my r33 rb25de gts man!
Yes rb25de series 1 from an r33 gts
@@90sNissan what did you use or did for a tune since it’s high compression?
@@robbienguyen4307 I used e85 for high boost and 98 for low boost
@@90sNissan thank you for the reply, appreciate your time! How about your ecu? Man, I’m in the eastcoast we have 93 and e85 certain areas Any recommendation for ecu ?
@@robbienguyen4307 i used nistune but i would definitely reccommend something better like haltech or something
how the heck you get it that quick?
Put it on performance mode, push shifter to left when its in drive
@@90sNissan I’ve had my ba for 2 years and only found this out on accident 2 months ago. I usually use the manual mode
Wheres coolant return on engine if any!
It loops back around engine to intake manifold. I didnt run coolant to the turbo
@@90sNissan sweet , your engine still going?
F legend. Thanks. Bro ecu modified or turbo One?
it will probably be a stock 25det ecu
It is a nistuned rb20 ecu running a rb25det map
putting it in alone. top bloke.
