I like the look of the wood surround. A lot of people use two long straps (similar to seat belt material) to wrap around and secure the planks. The straps add a nice accent, too.
I thought that was a spa i so dont have the room for that but its cool.
You need to edit your videos and show them at a slower pace so people can really see how beautiful these places are
Rocked it. Literally. 🪨 😂
My names stella
I missed the size of y'alls pool also how many planks did you all use? I have 8ft pool
We got a 6-foot tank! I don't remember how many planks of wood we used... I know we did the math of about how many we needed but ended up making a second trip back to Home Depot for more wood. Thanks for watching!
How much was the stock tank? I priced them at our Lowes, $500! I could buy a pool at Walmart for alot less .
I don't remember *exactly* how much the stock tank cost, but I want to say $450 - $500. Prices do vary from retailer to retailer. You can probably get a cheaper pool at Walmart, but it probably won't look as cool as a stock tank pool, nor will you have the fun/memories putting it together. 😉
Walmart pools are kiddy pools made to throw away after a couple of years.
This video would be perfect minus the music being super loud, it drowns you out! I’m not trying to be a jerk but I think it would help for future videos, great review!
Isn't that top worn by rosé
Wear red next if u need help
Thanks a lot for this!! This content needs promo sm!!
The last one
Great job you two
6’ seems to small especially for tall ppl
Have those pavers sunken into the ground yet?
Nice job. GO OILERS!
Is the wood staying attached to the pool. Thanks
Yes - the wood is staying attached! In the three summers that we've had the pool, only one board has come off.
Great job...gosh so many second guessers...geeeeez man please just be happy for them. Many different ideas can be uaed here but your wood finish does get my mind going. Thank you.
When you do a project, the 'mushroom' or 'snowball' effect will always happen. The project will turn from simple to complicated less than overnight. It is why the No.1, most important, factor needed for DIY is -- patience. The No. 2, needed, factor is -- money. When you think you know what your budget and time will be, triple it at the very least. But hey, I look at it as the one time off. It's not like you are going to be doing this many times over. Get it done the one time, then nothing but enjoyment after that. As far as the money, well you can not take it with you when you die and, compare this to the cost of a real pool which can run you into 10's of thousands of dollars. I, personally, always go the DIY route because of 2 main reasons. 1) I get sheer enjoyment knowing I did it myself because I am fiercely independent to a fault. 2) It makes my skin crawl to hear: ... "Why do you want that? This is what you really need". So, my husband has sworn that when I die, he will put on my headstone "Death, how hard can it be?!" Because that is my attitude about all DIY projects -- how hard can it be?
Good product but the gel vials could be designed better. Tough to squeeze out the gel evenly
I wonder how many boards fell off?
Only one and we’re going on our third summer!
What effect did you notice after using the eye&lip cream and how quickly did it come?
I noticed fewer fine lines and I would say it happened within one-two weeks.
Hm
did you get any zingers from this post whitening?
I did not! And still haven't four years later!
@@kaylazadel You still use it?
@@niceuba7813 Yes I do!
@@kaylazadel Thanks, will definitely get mine.
Thanks. I received this from my dentist. That’s a good endorsement for me.
Did work?
not sure if u mentioned this in the video, but did u not end up sealing the wood in some way? im wondering how long the wood will stay good for being outside and moist all the time
Hey Alex! The wood we bought was already treated.
enjoy your time
Just curious if the water gets hot during the day being a galvanized tank?
It does get warm... the hottest it's ever been is about 90 but the tank itself doesn't actually get hot - it's just the water. But we can always cool it down by adding more water.
This is great work and you deserve all the praise in the world. But i am wondering for about the same total price you paid for this, could you not have gotten a pre made Intex or Coleman pool in a larger size?
Hi Louis! Thank you for the compliments. Short story - yes. We could've gotten an Intex/Coleman pool in a larger size. However, that's not what we wanted to do. It's the novelty of having something like this in your backyard vs. a plastic, cheap-looking pool. Additionally, it was such a joy building something like this together.
@@kaylazadel OK, enjoy it. Have a great summer!
That's what I'm thinking.
I like it 👍
Good job guys
Beautiful
Boiling pot of human soup
I seen another video of how much it all costs to do this & i'd rather buy a 4 foot pool at walmart for less price&save money! good idea though for some people
Pretty level headed isn't she?
1st time i've seen you. You get along so great together. 💑
For about the same price, you can get the 8ft
Right!?!?!
I got my stock tank 3yrs ago 8ft was 200 now it's 550 a Tractor Supply company. That's a big jump in price to me
👍🏻
Were those fence pickets that you used around the outside?
Yes - they are! The link to the ones we used is in the description.
Love it!! I think something like this would be a good fit for my space.
R u guys using water treated wood?
We're using treated wood, yes.
Geat video. Thank you for the information. Am wondering if 3 people fit comfortably in the 6 by 2 ?
I think 3 people could fit comfortably!
Not unless you sit with your knees pulled up to your chest like a sitting fetal position. Six foot is too small for even two adults to stretch out. Two floats won’t fit.
how many vails did you use in 10 days?
Hi! I used 1 1/2, maybe 2 vials in 10 days.
Thanks.😀
OMG this is pretty cool.I have almost the size you have but instead us using is its for my turtles
“Ideally I would have liked a hand sander.” - laser eyes at Kevin. lol
But I got that hand sander.... 😏
@@kaylazadel lol. I saw that!
Love your editing 👏
Waldo is another random new brand that popped up in an ad for me. Wonder if I should give them a try 🤔
They look really good on you! I have recently tried blue light glasses too🤓
Hi there very nice to meet you!!! Do you take video requests?
Great product result video
