Bamboo can be a lot of work, what they don't tell you.
มุมมอง 493 ปีที่แล้ว
I show you what you can expect from growing bamboo and all the work that is involved. When I mention regular bamboo that's the stuff that only gets to be 11/2 in diameter at most. It's very common in the area. The bigger the bamboo the harder it is to work with and get rid of.

flapper Valve float how to remove and replace
มุมมอง 243 ปีที่แล้ว
Most toilet drain valves are the simple rubber flapper type. When I saw mine was different I tried researching on line for how to remove it and there wasn't any info. Initially I tried but I didn't wish to break anything. So here we go I show how I removed mine.

Larry how do I contact your e mail address, please have a Q on the Anderson spring fix, retired Navy guy here too.
Do you have one picture of the rivets you drilled out, I do see the one NOT to remove, and think they sell the spring that returns the lever to neutral now on Amazon, my lever doesn't return to horizontal , Question I hope, how did you know what side to drill, looks like the striker is on the outside or facing down, so the door would close from the other side or direction,? So how to determine what side to drill the rivets out from. I going to spot welt the plate back on with just a tack, last Thanks for the video , so well done and only one I found like other people , where did the little 2 parts go or don't you know, Great job and video. 👍👍👍👍
might break out the oscilloscope and check out what type of PWM ? (Pulse Width Modulation) signal is driving the vacuum valve.. ;) ( and here i thought it was just a simple on/off switch, LOL)
Thank you for posting video.... yes i also thought my vac switch faulty , as it seemed to be always open/leaking when engine off / out of car testing...Bought a new one , and of course , the new one seemed also .."faulty" , as i thought these particular valves should be should be closed as rest, then open when energised. It;ll be interesting to have to vac gauges attached to each of those ports when car running, and watch operation. Also, check to make sure the EGR valve diaphram conector is attached to correct to vac switch port. Mine was attached to bottom port, so egr always open- whereas this diagram , and other videos , show connected to top port.`
Thank You Navy Tech. May have saved me a saw. I've got an old craftsman 3.3 inch that broke the pull cover it bucks so hard. Will go straight for the flywheel.
I've seen video of repair people heating up and removing ribbons that are stuck to the screen itself. Seems like it would be more complicated job for the average person. I bought a 50" vizio and right out of the box it had 1 line. Over the next two years it turned into multiple lines that turned into sections. There is now a 3rd of the screen messed up where I cant see. I bought a 3 board set, tcon, main and power board and replaced them and the screen looks like shit. Out of warranty. Vizio is trash and I will never buy a tv from them again. $350 for a tv to last 2 years
Not really a "fix' Was it.
Would this code get triggered if your Egr tube is leaking or the manifold is leaking?
Hello I have a 2001 bucket truck Ford 7.3 the PTO does not come on the light the light does for the PTO don't come on or accelerate what can it be
On our 96 Versalift 36 the handle is so hard to move forwards and backwards for raising and lowering the lower boom it takes both hands. Do you know of a fix for that?
Thanks Larry. I’ve been scratching my head over the same issue. I have a Porsche Macan 3.0 litre diesel 82,000 miles. I recently got the OBD fault code P0403 “EGR A Open/Circuit”. From this I assumed the EGR Solenoid may be bad. I check for test procedure on TH-cam. The test I found suggested that you check power, which was ok, then blow in turn through both vacuum ports and if air escapes from one then the other when blown through then the valve is stuck in the open position, mine did exactly that, so purchased a new one from Porsche parts centre, like your case, new one exactly same, so it appears Porsche use the same arrangement as that of your Ford solenoid! A shame I didn’t come across video first! Anyway, I’m back to square one! Any idea what may be the causal? The car’s gone in to limp mode, other than that, it idles fine, pick-up fine, no black smoke or unusual engine noise. Any help you can give would be appreciated? There is just one thing that worries me and it may just be a coincidence, the night prior to the appearance of the flashing ‘Glow Plug’ warning light I put the AGM battery on maintenance mode charging, which then reverts to normal charging after approximately one hour and cut out once the battery is charged?
My DP motorhome's slack adjusters seems to have some white color grease in it (later i learned it may be some clay type grease). Before I realized the different grease, I applied 2 short-pumps of red high-temp grease I used for my entire chassis / drive-train. Can this small amount of a different grease cause a problem? Can I flush most of it out by pumping the right grease through the slack-adjuster?
What kind of plastic tape?
Looks like a good fix. I wonder why the factory uses a ball joint instead.
I nearly bought a new one, as it allowed air to flow while disconnected, thanks for this, saved time and money
This took a little time, mostly to refashion a new torsion spring out of a similar wire diameter extension spring, but you saved me $250!!! THANK YOU! 🙂
Sir, excellent information, thank you. A suggested repair, provided there is one, would have been nice. Foul language does not improve the presentation. Tom
Make sure you clean inside of the hose properly after cutting.
That stuff eat your stomach .
Hey is it possible for me to contact you, ur very knowledgeable and i have a few questions, im changing out all lines and hydrolic lines on teco 55 ft, trying to figure out how to bleed system including the 2 main rams
Can you give me info on where I can get a carburetor with a choke… I’d rather try that. Thank you in advance,.. Denny
Did you get a reply? I'd like to replace mine also
@@billpedrick4873 No… I don’t believe that one is available… I ended up replacing the engine with a Honda… but had to buy a new impeller for a lawn vac. Lost my ass on this machine..
I also have a Mustang 2060, as a backup machine. I also have to remove the exhaust to replace the battery, which is ridiculous. I am facing gremlins in the machine with it unexpectedly stopping and locking, which sounds like the same problem you resolved, so I will have to see if I can do the same. I don’t mind the T bar arrangement and I haven’t had any problems with the locking pin so far, probably because I am often changing implements.
🫡 ty sir
This happened to my troy built. Looks like the way to go.
Another thing that can throw you through a loop is even when energized valve does not necessarily create a perfect seal. These have no rubber/silicone membrane, just a metal disk against plastic. Some leakage is normal. They're nearly inaudible in operation, drawing ~350mA. Roughly 1/3 that of typical purge valve. I'll admit, this valve's design had me chasing an issue that didn't even exist.
Very easy and cheap fix thank you for the video.... Took only 30 minutes good as new. Didn't what to spend a ton on a 2001 mountaineer tailgate fix 😊
Bullshit! The primer only pushes air into the bowl, no way you could have fuel coming out of the primer bulb!
Now you're talking 💩!
As long as it primes is all that matters. I'm going to try your method.
Jumping the two power leads saved me from having to buy a mini freezer until the thermostat came in, thanks!
Thanks for an interesting video! I am resurrecting a Troy-Bilt 22-inch string trimmer that was left outside unused for years. I had already cleaned it up, checked compression and replaced the primer bulb. Today a Chinesium replacement carb arrived - and the plastic throttle lever was installed facing the wrong way! I wedged the plate out using an X-acto knife as a shoehorn, and it's all back together correctly now. Carb works ok - but still no prime. I will try the stacked gaskets - then your clever trick next.
My light went off when I held the brake pedal down for at least twenty seconds. And beforehand I pumped up the brake pedal for about 5 or 6 times.
This seems to be the same for my 89 ford probe gt. I can blow air but when I supply power I cant blow air though meaning it’s still good correct?
Thanks for the information
I can't believe there is not 10k comments on this video. 😂😂😂
Thank you man, ive been trying to fight this chainsaw for a few months with the same kickback.
I just bought 1 to fix up
Just getting into this hobby...Can you use a 4 prong in place of a 3? I have a original 4 prong that came with the gokart it was only using batt, sol and acc it was not using the ignition prong.. I have now a 3 prong ignition from AutoZone..can the acc be connected to the ignition by itself?
How about a carefully watched Turkey cooker?
I realize this video is a few years old, but I was just curious where you live and do you still have peafowl?
Yes and thank You 😊😊😊
Thank you man, you saved me $$$. It worked
Very good ending!
Question what problem did you had with your bucket truck in order to fix the upper control valve ?
Trust this man, he is absolutely right. I came across one of this exact model but it could’ve been any other cheap saw, with same flywheel manufacturing. Same issue and same problem. Unfortunately that saw hurt my arm a little, now gotta give it few days to heal, sometimes it’s not worth to put effort on crappy power equipment, guess experience help but sometimes we learn the hard way
Thank you!!
Anyone need a replacement spring? 30 bucks, delivered.
Still selling the torsion springs? Are they something you make?
I would.
Yes I need one too, sound like Anderson has a issue, what a way to make something. Let me know if you have the spring, my lever will not return to neutral or Horizontal
I use a turkey cooker and put 5 gallons at a time I bring the temp up to 190 within 10 minutes and cut heat and let it heat oil at 140 degrees till the water is gone I add 1/2 qt of mechanic in bottle form tractor supply usually takes me about a hour to do 10 gallons and 40.00 for additive and iv been doing this for years if I get water if not I put 1 bottle of additive beginning of every hay cutting season iv got little over 7000 hours on my tractor and never have replaced the transmission oil just drop a gallon beginning each season and add change filter so me being cheap hasn’t hurt my old mf 35 and we use it hard in summer and use it all winter have In framed it a couple times and a clutch or 2 but never had to do anything with the transmission
My Anderson three way lock has rust. What do you suggest to use to get rust off
Same problem. I removed the filter behind the primer bulb and taped the bottom portion of the gasket to seal any air leaks. It worked a few months and then the same problem returned and I went back to a couple squirts of starter fluid in the carburetor.
