Finally Kima 2 reviews. Sounds promising, like a mini Falcon with similar if not the same driver for half the cost. Better priced, similarly tuned with better accessories, Dunu is really going after the Kadenz. Bravo, Dunu! And that color, man - immaculate.
the tuning for the kima 2 sounds really nice to me, only a few times I felt that there wasn't enough bass so i switched back to the titan s2's tuning but overall i still prefer the kima 2 I'm a bit curious about the limited edition, do you also get the acrylic stand that's in the normal version?
I’ll give these a try… I don’t have anything with rolled back bass like this and I bought the original Kima last year and returned it cuz it hurt my ears 😂 But im sure i can handle it now.
@@Jaytiss just wanna add i got them in today. Wow they really are great. Made me swap my Volur to the gold modules, had stuck to silver modules on it this whole time.
Thanks. I missed this one at CJ. I was looking for the green-colored set at Dunu but they had the grey edition, so I didn't notice it. There's no way Criz means Chris (HBB), right?
The tuning is what I usually go for, I have the Moondrop May and the Rosetechnics Star City 5 Pro and I wanted to jump to the KATO, but would you recommend me to go for this instead of the kato? What other factor should I consider?
This has a nice package and tips. The Kato used might be good too. Both are good sets. But I personally like new sets and like the unboxing experience.
For me does not matter the shell or tuning. The tuning is easy for me to change. This cheap iem with 1 dd. Is based in the same. Dd close to nozzle because there is no chamber technology for image 3 d, and they place a filter for the bass on the back of the dd and one inside the nozzle for the mids and treble tuning. All the same. For me counts the technology of the dd driver. Magnet, diafragma and if there is chamber for the image. Yep
@Jaytiss hardly non. I mean. I tuned all my sets apart from explorer from aful.the hidizs ms3 had a good driver too. The letshuoer d13 had a good driver. I love final audio iem. They have a great sound stage. Simgot has great drivers build in house. That's why the price is good. Lz a2 is a great set too.the hiby project ace. Great chamber and great dd set. But I had to tune the upper mids to my volumes. But it's easy. Remove the grill. Placed a medium density sponge inside and in the grill a 250 mesh filter. Now I am getting the fiio fh 15. I think that's the name. 14.8 dd driver. That would blast my ears with no distortion. What other reviews make a mistake is saying the bigger the driver the more the bass it delivers and it's not true. The smaller the more inpact it has. But at high volumes then you need a bigger driver to support the high volumes and to push the bass without distortion.
@Jaytiss the best drivers for me are. Dd drivers from foster. It's a Japanese company . I think only a few iems has it. Great tone for bass. Thick and clean. For the ba drivers.of course, sony drivers, they just the best made with copper. And of course, audio 64 drivers are insane good too

Not similar tuned, lot less bass
I love the color. Falcon still has more bass.
@@Jaytiss EQ-able. I talk moreso from a driver standpoint. Some speculate it is the same driver but for 100$ cheaper which is a banger deal.

You do not. You can purchase it separately.
Oh you got the new limited edition one. I wish they made matte finish for this one as well :/
I think they are.
I think it'll sound great with Rock and metal subgenres.
It’s nice. I’m impressed at the clarity and detail at the price.

To me this is a better set. I like it way more than of kima.

Shoutout #CrizNation If you ain't Crizzin you ain't winnin!
😂❤️
Kima 2 is similar to Simgot EA500....which is better?
For me Kima 2. Simgot Ea500 was a bit bright.
Would you say that the dunu kima 2 would be a good 1st iem?i am also considering the s08 and explorer for my 1st under 200$ iem
All three of those are great!
Did you get any of them ? Am torn between those 3 as well lmao 😂
Technically, how does it compare to Kato OG? Also would you check out the Fiio FD15?
I just got that in today. I’ll have a review up in about a week.
@ nice, good to hear before 11/11 sales👍🏽

I have no idea. lol
Too lean in the bass for my preferences. This looks like it is similar to the Aria 2 as far as measurements go.
That’s the main fault for sure.
Guess not needed if I have kato and yume2 allready. Guess I should look for the s 12 2024 if I want something more fun musical in a small shell.
S12 2024 is a fun set although a bit expensive.
How does it compare to the Truthear Hexa since they're both neutral iems?
I think it's way better. Better dynamics, cleaner sound. I really like it.
Neutral Sound ? Is the sound warm or bright ?
It's a little more bright but the warmth is nice on it. It's a great tonality and one of my favorite sets.
Have you tried the Titan S? Is the treble extension on these better than the Titan S?
how does it compare to the KAdenz?
I think the Kadenz is more technical, but I think the Kunu Kima 2 is as good.

The Explorer ruined the sub $100 IEMs for me. The subbass is a bit too less for my preference.
Explorer is still a baller set. So nice.

@Jaytiss all planar drivers can't take the volume too. That's great. Even if they require more power.
