I was here. The sound of of the guitar echoing over the entire area was so beautiful. The drum addition and his voice was absolutely incredible. Still makes my hair raise today with crap video quality 😂
It does tick me off when its referred to as Cash's song. Trent reznor is an amazing songwriter and its a shame he often doesnt get the credit for this absolutely amazing tune
@SineFractal For one, "I doubt..." is an oppinion. I didn't say "Johnny Cash did not do a cover". THAT would have been an inncorrect fact. I DID state that I doubted he did, which IS an opinion. For two, I also have the right to post a comment on a video so get over it. For three, I admitted that I was wrong. Quit being a bitter irritating little prick and going around starting stupid little fights online. I know you're life is boring but that doesn't mean you have to stir shit up for fun.
@BlackHeartAbyss First of all, you were wrong in your original statement. It was NOT an opinion you posted, it was an incorrect fact. You should have looked up the info BEFORE you posted. That makes you a fucking idiot. Second, whether or not I was being an "immature fuckface" or not, I do in fact have the right to do that. There is not law stating "Thou shall not be an immature fuckface" or anything of the like. So before you post a response, please stop being a fucking idiot.
@SineFractal And that real mature comment made you look like an ass, doucheface. So, now that we understand each other I can say that after I posted my opinion I looked it up and saw that Cash did do a cover. I was wrong yes but you don't have the right to be an immature fuckface. Thanks :)
Wow, you're acting like I had said what I said as a fact instead of it being my opinion. I in no way stated that what I said was a fact, you, my kind sir, are in turn the asshat.
i'll admit that i'm not much of a NIN fan (mainly cuz i haven't got around to listening to them) but i will say that it's very impressive when Johnny frickin Cash wants to do a cover of one of your songs
Are you kidding me? He just opens his throat like a cock's in it and everyone think it just sounds so cool. There's no emotion, he just sings so quietly his voice doesn't respond, and then takes the air-cock again and raises the volume. Rinse, repeat, and you have undeserved success.
Does anyone know what tuning he was playing in? I really really love this version

Love the little leads Aaron adds
Best times of BB. Missed this band chad szeliga on drums
I was at this concert and let me just tell you, it was amazing. 3 days grace and B.B.!!!
They should have a decent record for this
lolondd studio-quality, album style cover. Abso-fucking-loutely
There's no such thing as 'covering the Cash version'. You don't cover a cover. Hurt is and always will be a NIN song. No exceptions compare.
It does tick me off when its referred to as Cash's song. Trent reznor is an amazing songwriter and its a shame he often doesnt get the credit for this absolutely amazing tune
Matthew Pearce - Trent doesn’t even consider it his song anymore. It’s Cash’s. It’s his. Simple as.
Triad It doesn’t matter, he wrote it, it’s his song
the echo just made it heavenly!! pls do a studio version!!!
they should do a studio version!!
if anyone has a version of this thats clear or reduced background sounds hmu :)
You can say that with any cover.
I actually think he's doing the nine inch nails version =o not to nit pick haha sorry, great cover though =)
1:47 the Echo really added to the song! my favorite part!

@BlackHeartAbyss That makes you a fucking idiot.
@BlackHeartAbyss He did, though. That's Fact.
For some "strange" reason, I really doubt that Johnny Cash covered NIN. Think of it that way... :/
even when the quallity of the audio is not the best, i like this cover, i hope they can record this cover someday :P
Haha Chad is awesome in the back XD
He kinda sounds like the dude from Korn on this. Brilliant cover.
One of the best covers I've seen so far; right up there with Cash, Bowie, Sevendust and Kermit.
MajickDemoniack fuckin Kermit 😂 I forgot all about that cover, lol!!!
@ASFX07 They are definitely playing the NIN version.
Definitely a cover of NIN rather than a cover of Johnny Cash's cover. It's a bit darker than Cash but I like it both ways. Fucking tune.
@aenima001 They do it to remember him, because it was of the last songs Cash did before he died. It's very sad & dramatic.
BEN GIMME UR PRS !!!!11
this is a great song ^^
@bhgilly go search it up, Trent Reznor was the original writer
@bhgilly hahahah of course
The NIN featuring David Bowie is the best version. search "nine inch nails hurt bowie"
People always start clapping on the songs that are most unfitting for it...
@MegaCountrygirl01 I like how you think
I know its not the original but I love this and I love BB!
is there like a studio version of this song from breaking benjamin because i think it´s badass
Breaking Benjamin FTW!
Wow, you're acting like I had said what I said as a fact instead of it being my opinion. I in no way stated that what I said was a fact, you, my kind sir, are in turn the asshat.
Weird. Theres another video of this same song at the same place but the camera's behind Chad.
i'll admit that i'm not much of a NIN fan (mainly cuz i haven't got around to listening to them) but i will say that it's very impressive when Johnny frickin Cash wants to do a cover of one of your songs
there's a manchester in USA, kool, i live in the uk
I'm going to agree with you. For some reason, it just completely fit Johnny Cash so much more then Trent Reznor. But that's just my opinion
they've never played in manchester since bens scared of planes of somethin like that
Are you kidding me? He just opens his throat like a cock's in it and everyone think it just sounds so cool. There's no emotion, he just sings so quietly his voice doesn't respond, and then takes the air-cock again and raises the volume. Rinse, repeat, and you have undeserved success.
Ben sings with the most emotion of any singers I know
I agree it's not them, but i can see it being them XD But point is yeah they did have a great cover.
i saw them perform this in manchester NH, simply amazing
LOL @ the crowd's lack of knowing wtf they are listening too (there are a few though)
I love the cover. Brings me to tears.
LMAO everytime I come to watch tis video everyones always fighting about who wrote it. Hahahahahahaha. Breaking Benjamin rocks 4 life!! Amazing song.
People are really stupid. Trent Reznor wrote this song. Learn2music.
