Sadly took about 1 month before it was open for me. I wish there was a way for HG to put the option back in the game itself without having to use the Cloud.
Has the problem been solved to recover the PS4 game on PS5 (with the PS5 version of the game)?

Well I have no cloud icon next to my saves I must be doing something wrong I refuse to start the game again I have a 1000 hour game save iv been waiting weeks for a slot
No you are not doing anything wrong, just have to check everyday unfortunately, it took a month before I was able to get in.

I cant seem to upload my ps4 version to my ps5 version using the ps cloud why?
It is still in Beta, once it goes full release everyone should be able to, just have to sign up and check everyday.
@MooseGaming83 so your saying you can't do it with the ps cloud at all ? I even tried once with gta5 I have ps4 data and cannot upload it to the new ps5 version
@@leebee87 Nope it is all done thru the Hello Games cloud, and for GTA5 it is done through the game as well, No PS cloud used for the file transfer.
@MooseGaming83 so what's the point of ps plus cloud ? I don't get it at all I was playing the ps4 version on my ps5 and recently got the ps5 game nms you'd think the saved data would be on the consol but for some weird reason I cannot transfer it to my new game I just installed... it's on my consol both games
@leebee87 the save Data transfer used to be done in the game directly before worlds part 1, HG removed it when they brought in CrossSaves that is in Beta, The PS cloud is used for many games so that if your console breaks and you can't recover the Game Save Data for games, at least it's backed up on the Cloud and you can recover that save Data for a new Console.

No there is no real way to know, just have to check back every day

Just followed all the instructions to the letter and now have to wait for an open slot 😔 this makes no sense. Hello Games need to fix this bc I want to play the game again. Have 300+ hours and want to play it on the PS5 version!!

I had something like this happen years ago right after landing something at the north pole of Kerbin. It got ripped apart and a bunch of the debris was sent into interstellar space at like 40,000 m/s.
Crossave is not available at the moment, it tells me that the slots are full. I just have to wait, I will start a new game on PS5 and I can only play my game from years ago on the PS4 version installed on PS5.

I dont think HG realizes how badly this issue is destroying their reputation with a small chunk of the playerbase. Considering nms was essentially a launch title for ps5 making save transfer easy and quick, now its downright Disgraceful i hate to say. Ive been praising them for years it's starting to feel like it was all in vein.

Hello! Arp gave me your name and said to me that you may help me. It's about Subsistence save files. I have the savefile, the map file and the profilestats file but i can't recover my game. Probably something with the saveFilesList.sav. If you have the knowledge and some time perhaps you can help me. It's a huge save used for youtube videos :(
Try to Turn off cloud save for Steam on this game and see if your save shows back up.
