Dungeon Clawler is a Roguelike Claw Machine Deckbuilder. Build your unique deck, fight enemies by grabbing weapons and items from a claw machine and find special artifacts that help you on your quest to reclaim something you lost... Aim carefully to claw your way through this dungeon!
To improve his fortune in gambling, the evil dungeon lord has chopped off your left rabbit paw and wears it as a charm.
Replacing your lost limb with a (t)rusty claw you fight your way through the dungeon to reclaim what's yours!
Dungeon Clawler mixes deck building with a dash of rogue-like mechanics and most importantly: a claw machine.

from what i noticed the spike balls' self damage will hit your shields (you take X damage) while the double sword and dark sword bypass your shield (you lose X life), but both count for the extra damage, so perhaps a better build could revolve around the swords and armor

The reflect boss only attacks onxe during his reflect stage normally for 20 i think, the idea when youre stuck on him is to skip turns using backspace, pick up some block on his attack turn, and youll get one turn every 4 where hes about to renew his buff and the previous reflect wears off.
This game looks so fun, it's great to watch.

@@gamingwithjeff they demo seems ti nearly be a full game on its own, its hard to imagine what more they could add, its going to be very interesting.
Been loving these runs with the new characters. Might I add, the music sounds like Pokémon reborn? If you’ve played / heard of it?

After your last video showing the new characters I picked up the demo. I have seven and a half hours played and have only beaten floor five once. Almost always losing to the 10 reflection boss or the one that has a ton of spikes. This game is definitely harder than it appears.
I haven't played enough of the demo to know if this holds true, but prior to this update going heavy defense + some kind of scaling would lead to solid results.
The reflect boss is by far the hardest.
I don’t know what character it is, but one has a magnet that is dumb when paired with with magnet items
It's the 2nd one the added, I also forgot his name, but he is fun
I just tried him out today and found him with the thermometer was broken especially with them upgraded. Though it took me a few runs to get used to him because I was hurting myself too much. I love that they made draws on the final boss count as a win for you. He is probably the second hardest character to play as, I struggled more with the vampire dude. The 10 reflect guy is hard to deal with any character.
Hmm, the vampire was not a problem at all for me. This one I can't seem to get.
@@gamingwithjeff He felt similarly to the vampire for me, but you can occasionally blocks. It's mostly the 10 reflection guy that is the problem in most runs.
I don't think you played him wrong other than not going for as many thermometers as possible.

Ouch. I would love to see you try and suss out this character's play. I _think_ poison may in fact be the way, but I would enjoy seeing you dig into the bones of this game, and nothing inspires that like a character who enjoys dying too much.
I think my plan currently is to unlock some of the other items from the other new characters and see if there's additional synergies somewhere. Right now it feels like unless you get a BUNCH of hp pots the moth reflect is going to be a hard wall to get through
@@gamingwithjeff Playing with Felinia and her vicious kitty seems to be fun. If I understand it, her cat has reflect of some kind.
The block kills this character's ability to HURT SELF. Healing often and using blocks only at end of turn might help?❤🎉
I'm not sure if it was always like this or if they changed it in the update but it can now reflect poison. Damage from poison already applied doesn't reflect but if you try to ad new stacks they reflect so if you wanted to use that build you would need to apply poison on first claw then grab antidote with the second.
Some other info that might help beat the reflect boss is that reflected attacks can trigger your spikes as if the enemy attacked you. I think the best way to take it would be spikes+healing+low power attacks and avoid raising strength.
