Not only is knightly now night but because rooke is rook now and the names were translated for some reason his german name is tower and i just cannot take that name seriously i apologise. Mr tower sounds too funny. Some names are ok but others are just puns that don't feel like names. Like Eustace winner. Sebastian Debeste sounded like a name but who the fuck calls their name Eustace and does not have a french second name.

it’s kinda starting to sink in that people might have to stop themselves from cringing or laughing upon seeing Sebastian for the first time and seeing himself confidently calling himself “Eustace”.

I kinda like Chester Knight, ngl. Bernie for Blaise would be really funny, it just sounds cutesy/harmless to me (dunno if it comes across like that for americans, english is my second language).

I don't get why people are so upset. Translation and localization is hard to do properly, and there are very few people who actually try to be creative and change something like names to be more recognizable for the target audience. I can imagine it wasn't an easy job for the fan translators, but neither was it for the Capcom translators. What would the fan translators think if Capcom made money with names that the fans created, while the fan translators don't see a penny? And by the way: No, I didn't play the AAI games

As for Nicole, Horace and Blaise we only know their last names I hope no one will really think that Denmark Tasting or Elisabeth Room are official names, like wtf

I wish Sebastian got a better name. 'Useless Winner' is just a mean pun for the poor guy, at least with Debeste it was a bit more cleaver and helped to boost an ego without being so corny as to say 'I'm a Winner'.

I love that Redd White is representing Capcom. Unfortunately, they will always be Sebastian and Raymond to me. I like Justine's new name though.
