use nvidium if you can, apparently its freakishly optimized. its on modrinth, and also its basically distant horizons except it literally renders all the details, it doesnt fake it. unfortunately shaders do not work, and it only takes some of the most recent nvidia GPU's.

How can you get minecraft to muse more then 16gb ram. My pc has 32gb installed and it top out at 15gb allocation

Performance dropped because you ran out of VRAM. You could render things faster with a 3090.

I recall bedrock for windows had pretty crazy render distance without any mods and it was butter smooth even on my old 16x 3Ghz xeon and 32GB of RAM

I actually tried the same thing on my rig: 128GB of RAM, RTX 3080 and R9 3900X, game went into powerpoint mode haha
