Okay, hear me out. I heard this first cause of project sekai and ever since I've been obsessed. I searched it up on Spotify and heard the original (for the first time) and it gave off a eerily happy vibe and I knew what this song is about despite not knowing a lot of Japanese nor googling the lyrics' meaning. So, it was kinda off-putting. But I absolutely love both, and I believe they are equally great at portraying the same message but in different ways. It's fascinating how a song sounds totally different when you change some things like the pitch or maybe even the instruments. But at the end of the day, it's the same song ._. Fun Fact: this is an opinion, go easy on me. 😜

We don’t know what was going on with the VAs at the time (sometimes you can’t hit your high range for no reason), Plus going that high for the entire song could severely damage their voices ESPECIALLY for Akito and Touya’s VAs, according to both of my choir directors over the years, at least.
