Thanks for the sub, I really appreciate that! Can you elaborate on what you want to do? Are you uploading just the audio version of your show to youtube, with just a static image thumbnail instead of video? Or is the audio of something you don't have the rights to?

@@thepodcasthaven so I don’t have a host but I’ve narrowed down my choice to podbean or Buzzsprout. From what I understand, they only send the static video. I want to set up my camera and record while I’m doing the podcast. Then upload the video to TH-cam and the audio to the hosting site.

funny enough the changed the whole beehiiv interface after I made this video. Go to Audience on the left hand side of your homepage - then click on Subscribe Forms - Then hit "view" - then it'll come up and you can copy the HTML code - then go to your website or where ever you want to put it, - and paste it into the HTML code section on the page you want

You can host your podcast for free on Spotify For Creators - creators.spotify.com/features/podcast additionally check out pod bean - www.podbean.com/ and Libsyn - libsyn.com they all have free plans. With any of these 3 you can get your show on Apple, Spotify and the other listening platforms

You always wanna hear yourself so you can make adjustments in your tone and level and hear how your room sounds. Your mic could be too far or too close, there might be ambient noise you're mic is picking up that you're not hearing

You can make some money, it's gotten harder because there's more competition. I don't make much, usually like $500 a month. But it runs on auto pilot. Once you film videos they continue to make money.

I am platinum & have received nothing. My commission has dropped substantially & 2025 goal to do more on Utube.

@@cleansnobI'm Gold...Yeah my earnings have dropped quite a bit too. I just created another TH-cam channel and have been uploading the Amazon videos on there too. Only a few subs right now, but the idea is to put the affiliate links in the descriptions and hopefully generate some more money and grow a second channel. We'll see!

For sure! It's a great sounding unit and the built in DSP for the apogee channel strip is a great feature. Apogee's stuff sounds excellent.

like a year and a half. i went hard in the beginning uploading a lot of videos. Now, i do it more casually, uploading like 5-10 videos a month. I really should step it back up. More videos = more money.

@@KevinNordstrom The vast majority of videos i've seen are just someone holding an iphone. The ones that get pushed to the top of the carousel on the product pages are the ones that convert the consumer to buy the product. If your video is creating sales of the the product you have a better shot at your video appearing first. An iphone with decent lighting wand good audio should be fine. But it's how you review the product that counts!

Upload manually to TH-cam, but there's a few steps to take to make TH-cam recognize it as a "podcast" and not just a video. You actually have to set it up via TH-cam Music. I wrote a blog post on it if you're interested I can share it with you. The audio version of the show I host with Libsyn.

SM58's are great. It's crazy how good they sound for podcasting at their price point. The ATR2100x is great too in the even that you just wanna do an easy USB connection if you don't have your full audio setup
