Nice guide, I will be a bit pedantic and say claiming a lower Defence means 'the attacks you do will do more damage' is not quite right. OSRS damage works by first checking if you hit zero, and if not, then selecting a random number between 1 and your max hit. So when you hit, you always do the same amount of average damage, regardless of defence. But because you're less likely to hit zero, your average damage over time goes up. In summary, you're more likely to hit, but you're not hitting harder when you do.

Burning Claws are as good as DClaws and much much cheaper. Remember to use them on low HP as opposed to how you would use a VW.

Great video, killed it on my second try. Died on my first attempt due to an outside distraction. It's a pretty simple boss, just follow this vid and make sure you're above your max HP on its third spec and you're good to go. If I were to name anything, you could've been more specific with gear names and tiers, your method of attacking (trident of the swamp), and alternative spells for attacking (for lower end gear). This goes double for those like me (or ironmen) who aren't accustomed to fighting mage. Excellent video though, very helpful.

I do find them just a tad bit on the easy side. Have 20 kc now and rarely ever have my hp dip below 50. It's obviously made for lower level players, which I appreciate. I just wish they hit a little harder because I think mechanically this boss is phenomenal. Maybe an optional more punishing expert mode would be nice? Slightly increasing the non-rare drop table to give more water orbs or something

Great tips! I also recommend completing at least the medium diary's to get even more unlocks like the Fremennik sea boots for some free tp's to vorkath and the ardy cloak for the monastery teleport. Also if you're really new to pvm, I suggest barrows brothers as they require different prayers, gear swaps, and managing your prayer. Another good goal is full void... Even though pest control sucks you're gonna have to do it eventually, and its a pretty good 1 gear swap if you get all 3 helmets. (hard western provinces diary for elite void) Lastly, have fun with the game, DON'T rush to endgame (similar to the video), because I guarantee as soon as you got max / high combat stats and can complete raids your burnout is gonna come super fast. Also taking breaks from the game is a good thing.
