Hi I'm new here I have just learnt how to do the tentacles on a jelly fish have you put 3 stitches in each stitch? I used a 3.5mm hook 3 HD or SC both work just keep twisting them as you go see how that works xxx

I’m also part of that Facebook group and it’s great, hopefully you seen the recent update about flammability testing? This makes things so much easier especially if a lot of the toys you’re making are smaller… Have you considered holding the same colour of DK yarn with the chenille yarn for some of the pieces that failed on your axilotol? This would give it some strength whilst having the fluffiness still… I’m only now starting to make things to test, currently making some loveys. Edit: I commented half way through your video and noticed you’d mentioned about using DK yarn to sew some of the pieces to make it stronger! All round great tips for those parts that failed, thankyou x

My wool winder also has had problems and the yarn kept prolapsing from the centre of the balls and we have worked out that it is broken somewhere on the gears 😢. I found my first virus shawl pattern (which I then made) on a Spanish-speaking channel. In spite of the language difference it was relatively easy to follow, and the finished shawl was lovely.

I am now up-to-date with your podcasts, I have really enjoyed viewing them - so inspirational! I now have more projects to add to my never ending list of ‘want to makes’. I wish I knew how to make a podcast - can you just use an iphone or do you need more sophisticated equipment and software?

Hi, just surfing through TH-cam and found you! If you’re looking for a yarn festival, if Newbury there’s the southern wool show is near you or there’s one at the Maltlings which is near Farnham, it’s called Unravel. I’m not great knitter but I can say you need to push all your needles up further, that’s why they are tight. Also try holding you needles resting between your thumbs and use your middle finger to throw your yarn over. Try not to let go of your needles. Hope this helps.

Hi Jill, greetings from London! I was at the stitch festival on Saturday , my first ever. Hoping to go to an actual yarn festival one day lol. A little tip for your lacy shawl knitting... put a stitch marker between every pattern repeat and that will help you see and find those pesky little mistakes much easier!
