I have this model GDF520PGJ5WW and it has power and runs when we start it but randomly beeps 3 in a row but not on a timer one day we will hear it do the 3 in the row beep just once and the next day 5 and the following day 7. Has anyone experienced this?

Nice video. All is complete except bolting the gear case back to the three mounting brackets. I cannot get the holes aligned with the recessed mounts. It won't fully go on. What is next? (Clutch spring is at the top, white thing that protrudes on the other side is at the bottom.) I measured the holes in the gear case. The bottom one is the tightest fit: hole at 0.494" and recessed mount at 0.488". Not much wiggle room at 0.006"! Would it be beneficial to file the mount a bit so it will fit into the hole better?

Great videos. I was particularly interested to see how you re-attached the water pump clips and saw that you, just like everyone else in their videos, it's a quick press-and-snap, which is exactly how I did mine. What I also noticed was that you, as the others, never show how to pop in the other two clips, which should easily pop into place as does the front one. And I know why no one takes the time to demonstrate just how easy it is to re-install those clips. It's because the one located on the right side can be a little bit of a bitch with it located right at the hose hookup. The clip on the rear isn't a "little bitch", it's the full-grown, ain't-no-doubt-about-it, cuss out grandma, evil mother-in-law pain in the ass bitch to reinstall. Not only is there limited space and a difficult angle to work in, but the brainless designer of the model I have placed the metal framework just below the area where the bottom of the clip is supposed to attach. Now maybe it's just me, but if you agree that clip will make you want to just buy a new washer and have any tips, please pass them along. Thanks,

Speed queen owner here, model AWN63RSN116TW01, I had it stop many times blinking on rinse and wash, so I replaced the drain hose and also the cold and hot water hoses. I still get the error, what could it be now? The drain pump? I saw no leaking underneath when I replaced the hose, everything looks good under there and fairly new.

I spent, I dunno, ~six months flipping the breaker to reset my machine each time I wanted to use it. When that stopped working, I followed GE troubleshooting tips and ended up replacing the door valve. That worked for maybe a month. When it stopped working again, I gave up and started saving up for a new dishwasher. I've been handwashing for three or four months now. And it's made me stop eating healthy at home, because I don't want to have a bunch of dishes to do! So today I came to TH-cam U. A last ditch effort before shelling out several hundred dollars on a new, (probably equally worthless) dishwasher. This is the first video I watched. I watched once thru then gathered my tools prepared to remove the board beneath the machine. But first! I decided to try any easier tips and tricks in the comments. I unplugged and replugged the wire harness next to the black communications jack (no need to remove a bunch of screws for access) and voila! Mine came to life as well! I am currently washing dishes while sitting in my recliner, sipping coffee, and typing here to say "Thank you, friend!"

Thanks for info but it was not easy to watch everything is shaking and we never saw the most important things like, where everything goes inn power, the pipe and how. Please get yourself a tripod stand so that you may aim the phone on whatever is important, than you may use both hands and the cam will not shake as much.

Hello there! Can I ask why the spanner nut needs removal when removing the gear case? I ask because as far as I can tell (I haven't done one myself though) the spanner nut only serves to tighten the inner tub onto the drive block, and so not removing it shouldn't have any effect on removing or inserting the gearcase shaft, no?

Remove the capacitor right next to the connector on the UI board. 220mf 25v. YES remove it , replacing the bad cap does not fix the issue. For all of those who have a dead UI board try this. It's a smoothing capacitor I'm assuming. No harm removing it at your own risk. For some reason this solved a completely dead board. This dishwasher will still randomly come on but I can live with it. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you posting this. THANK YOU! My son and I just used your method to replace all 6 springs in my Speed Queen today and it worked like a charm. I made one small change, I didn't use wire, I used paracord which I think might be easier on the hands and it worked fine. (Paracord is just a small braided line that's used for parachute shrouds and hikers and campers use it a lot and it is very strong.) I see other guys suggesting different methods but I can't imagine anything slicker than this. Apparently you work alone but I'm not a pro like you so having my son help worked great for me and I would suggest that for other novices.

Well this is disappointing. I have this exact dishwasher and I love it. But it has the same problem shown in the video. I was hoping it would be worth trying to repair but it looks like it’s an expensive option. I bought it used about a year ago and, fortunately, bought the extended warranty so I can get a replacement dishwasher at no cost.
