I took another walk in Gaborone, this time at the BBS mall. This is in the Broadhust suburb of Gaborone. The area is home to a lot of informal businesses as well as government departments such as transport department, a police station, the Gaborone Private Hospital, a post office as well as many residential properties. As you can see it is a pretty busy area.

I am back in Botswana for a short while, I took a drive in a neighbourhood of Gaborone, called Gaborone West "also known as G-West". The area has a large mosque, schools nearby, shopping complexes and a police station. It was a cloudy day with a little bit of drizzle.

I took a drive in Soshanguve again. As previously stated this is a busy and large township about 1 hr outside of Pretoria. It includes, several schools, malls, clinics, a private hospital and university. The name Soshanguve is fascinating it actually stands for Sotho, Shangaan, Nguni and Venda (these are all ethnic groups in South Africa).

Am back in South Africa for a while now. I took a drive in Boksburg North, I have previously visited Boksburg. This is a lower income of Boksburg as you can see. The area is home to lots of car repair shops, retail shops, residential areas, as well as some hotels and bnbs. This area is quite busy!

I took this drive in the Block 10 area of Gaborone, this area has many new housing developments. Schools and some upcoming offices. The area is close to the Airport Junction Mall, as well as the Sebele area of Gaborone.

I took a brief trip to Manong Game Lodge for a relaxing break. The lodge is about 50km outside of Gaborone and approximately 15km outside of the town of Lobatse. Manong Lodge is a tranquil and relaxing stay which I enjoyred. There are different kinds of accommodation, game drives, bouffet meals, conference facilities and some outdoor activities.

      Hi there, so UB is definitely a Botswana government owned University. I think it was the Confucious Institute which I passed early on which explains why there were some Mandarin characters on the wall.

    Great video showcasing the beautiful houses in Gaborone North! It's fantastic to see the area thriving and growing rapidly. The houses are stunning but the lack of tarred roads is a downside. I so wish for the government or city to prioritize road amenities ahead of housing developments to enhance the overall appeal of the area, amongst others. Otherwise,,,Keep up the great content!

      Hey, so I'll try my best to describe it. Its a long the A1 road to Phakalane. Then there is a left turn. In the area of the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. It's also close to Airport Junction Mall and the Sebele Mall. Hope that helps.

    This is really nice, I am in USA,I would love to visit, they never really show us this part of Africa. And being a descendant of slaves I would love to visit a few different places in Africa one day, like Botswana, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

      Thanks very much! You should definitely visit whenever you get the opportunity. I think you'd like Botswana, it's a very chilled place. I see a lot of African Americans visiting different African countries and posting on TH-cam, seems like a growing trend.

    That straight walk actually connects the Government parliament building with the caborone City council. In between them is this Mall, main mall. Memlriea.. i walked this pathways unaccountable number of times especially as a University of Botswana Students or at rimes when i was just staying in Gabs, the university is not that far away from this straight walk as well , it's a walking distance to the University and national stadium.

    So many beautiful memories. Grew up in Gabs from 1982 to 1997. Went to Thornhill and MAP. Remember going shopping to Spar which appears in the video. My dad used to work for the Botswana government in buildings dept which had an office in that mall. ❤
