GREAT Video......
@@randymarko486 thanks. And thanks for watching
I stayed there many, many years ago. I only remember 2 floors.
@barbarabrusatori8585 I think there is a 3rd floor but small. Not sure now it has been a couple years lol.. cool place tho. Thanks for watching
@@megadosevitaminc8774 Thanks.
@@barbarabrusatori8585 your welcome
This is the simplest method I've seen. All of the rigging videos I've watched involve blocks with "loopies" and porta wraps and special straps. I've never seen one with stuff bought from Home Depot. Is that just a regular bowline? Subbed and thank you.
@jasonk9770 just a bowline yes. I have upgraded to some amazon stuff lol. But for small stuff that worked. I have some loops and carabiners. The new stuff I have is way more heavy duty. This method works good but always end up snagging at some point. Then I switch to the other end of the rope. Thanks for watching and subscribing
The great communicator!
How far is the reach?
I can reach about 18 feet with it.
You still running this pole saw bro? I'm kinda thinking about getting some husky battery stuff ... not sure if it would be worth running this instead of my gas stihl pole saw ... thoughts?
yup. all my husqvarna stuff is still awsome. I did bend the shaft a bit. my fault tho. got it straight enough to go in and out still tho. I have the weedeater too and it's awsome also. it's the 40 volt proffesional grade stuff. I don't think the cheaper versions would be near as good. I love my t540ixp for climbing..
@@megadosevitaminc8774 yeah I've bent or broken every pole saw I've ever owned -- didn't even think about the weedeater. It's nice to take advantage of the batteries if ya got 'em. thanks man
@metaspencer and the weedeater is a multi tool thing so I can put different attachments on it
Where is this tree at ???
Klamath California
It’s probably sediment build up from the dams being let down, Elwa river did the same but ended up creating a huge estuary for life, clams and tide pools full of food and bountiful life
this was before the dam removal. was a big slide somewhere. cant remember now tho
Pretty scary. Love the music !
Pretty high...
Awesome !
Some crazy security camera footage-looks really scary. That tree is really really tall... Good work man !
Wow, how did that split like that ?Must have been helluva wind...Nice footage man !
Hot day.Great footage !
Good job !
thanks. alot of work for the 1st big job of the year for me. turned 48 in the middle of it haha..
@@megadosevitaminc8774 48 years if i understood correctly ?
That went deep !
we have the same saw here in South Africa under a "Wolf Brand" - the plastic covers+starter cord+ lubricant and petrol filler caps etcetc = exactly the same and on the same sides and same locations (ie. the same plastic moldings but only different colours of plastic) = yellow and red covers here + Wolf sticker labels, was like R1000 so thats around $55-$60+/- "more-ish+ on conversion - cuts way above its punch weight. We took down a tree(+sliced and diced it) with a trunk thicker then the chainsaw blade bar was in length + works like a charm, few starting issues till it was tweaked, now it screams along + cuts like hell . Very impressive. Perfect for a backyard occasional user like me.
definitely great for that. and has great power for a little saw. only problem with mine is high idle. cannot get it to idle down. but it will fire up after months with 2 pulls usually. thanks for watching
Looks like a bit of Jarrah
coastal redwood.
Jesus my hart was in my mouth then could gone so wrong
I had a good size hinge so it was only gonna go where I aimed it. I was droppin the from 80 feet yesterday in a small landing zone. just dont cut off the hinge. Definitely not something u wanna do if u don't know how to do it. I have seen some scary stuff people post lol.
Didn’t even look that windy on the house camera footage!
it was blowing pretty hard. lots of trees around so it buffers the wind. I was at the bar drinkin luckily haha.
Wind breakage , or lightning strike?
wind. was blowing hard that day.. and u know how redwoods can be..
Could I go pick up a few slabs ?
probably
👍
Barber chair!!!😂
no. storm damage. 3 big tops blew out. I have a vid of them hitting the driveway from their security cam. crazy. about half the tree blew out.
Are you okay ?
oh yes. it was storm damage. half the tree broke off. 3 tops actually. I am just removing 5 trees in the spot now to make it safe.
How do you climb that tree with those huge nuts?
it's pretty hard lol... they have their own harness and rope haha...
dude, you're missing half a tree there!!!
oh not missing it. it just left early lol
👍👊💚🌳
Poor cabin almost got hurt, I’m glad it’s okay
it's the pumphouse. it got smacked a bit when the tops broke out in the storm. the top I sent wasn't close to it. plenty of room. thanks for watching.
You cut it up for em! Your too good to your crew bro. 😂 nice shot! Have a great day.
my ground crew rocked.. thanks for watching..
I takie ładne drzewo ścianka się? "EKO"...
storm broke 2 of the trees in half. this one would have been next since the others were gone to help block the wind. and the top of the storm one stuck 4 feet in the ground and missed the homeowner by 2 minutes. so they wanted them gone.
Man, that’s some insane stuff you do.😊
it can b a bit scary fir sure. 1st climb in about 3 months too so outa shape. I did that 3 afternoons after my day job. got it all safe so today went and rode my motorcycle through the redwoods.. way more relaxing haha.. thanks for watching man...
Yeah man!!! So set it and get out of the way? Just a regular anchor tie by you? I hope your day was awesome.
my 14 year old was runnin the ropes. awsome lil worker
You are the highest guy I know
haha. fir sure
watch this and looking for a to see what is around town. Saw ad, free garage door. Cool, looking at replacing wood sides of trailer and so door panels would be great. It had hardware too so got the torsion bar and it had the bearing plates. Buying plates with bearings and in it is expensive so free bearing plates plus a roller bar. Thinking of using some PVC pipe with those 3" to 1" reducer bushings since spring is 3". Unroll tarp but tuning in just enough to keep tension. I am going to use the cable and pullys. Pulley will extend beyond the sides so when pulled out it extends over the sides. Cable will also hold the sides from flapping. The conduit at the ends will be bent 90 to ensure tarp goes over the sides. I was going to just take the doors but remember seeing this and thought those bearing plates look like the bracket you had. All else fails can simply run a bar thru the mount and do what you did. Another idea was use old springs and mount to fenders. Use pvc or conduit and in center, pole holder. Make a conduit u shape over trailer so when you pull it the tarp extends over the load. DIY tarp arm
nice. lots of good free parts.. look up the tensioned covers. they go way up and over like a convertible car top almost.
Awesome work dude thanks for the follow
thanks. man.
Whattup tree bro!
howdy. thanks fir watchin... I just subscribed to your channel. you can subscribe to my channel if ya want to
Haha got me on that one 😂
this is a video that was made in the Neanderthal period
haha kinda lol. it was a couple years ago. it was a science experiment for my kid.
i agree with everything said on the video.
thanks. much appreciated... thanks for watching
I would call that a win! Lessons learnt for future models but not too bad!
haha. True. we were just doing an experiment for my kids science class. it wqs kinda cool to actually make something from old containers tho. Definitely could have better methods
Great technique. Thanks for sharing it. 💪
your welcome. way funner and easier with a ground guy but sometimes ya gotta keep at it by yourself.
NICE!
was fun . cold but fun.. dropin the bike wasn't fun tho haha
Don't spike redwoods 😂. It is a big no no here on hardwoods, especially red oak and cherry. What bike you riding.
Redwood trees r the only trees I spike prune. Definitely don't on other trees .. 2001 honda shadow spirit 750.. thanks for watching

True, too many stuff up there. Good video and enjoy it ,thx.@@megadosevitaminc8774
Hey ! Long time no see... Good work !
haha thanks. pretty wet out here and main job has been busy. can't wait till spring. longer days and tree climbin. thanks for watching
What is the fuel ratio mix and what oil you use for the fuel mixture ?
it says 25 to 1 but I used 50 to 1 husqvarna oil mix in it
Will you doing something I can't do I can't see my fat ass trying to do that, LOL . THANKS for the sub
haha.. I probably would be winded about 10 feet up now. gotta get back in shape lol.. I am gonna subscribe to you on my new motorcycle channel too.
