2 of those in my TBR. 🧙🏻♀️🐈⬛Miss Fitz Discovers Midlife Magic by Red Tash✨🧹

Good to see you 😁 the tarts look sooooo good. I just finished reading Homicide at the Haunted House it was good. I have that Carol Perry book I may try it next. THANKS 👻
Thanks for watching and Happy Halloween! 🎃
I read The Legent of Sleepy Hollow and A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny, and had planned to do more Halloween reading, but time got away from me. I have a few stories I hope to read later today...The Cloak by Robert Bloch, and Yesterday's Witch by Gahan Wilson.
All of those sound great! You just reminded me that I haven’t listened to my Sleepy Hollow audiobook yet this season! Going to do that now. Thanks for watching and Happy Halloween 🎃
I love your channel! The mummy cookies are fantastic! I just finished reading “The Man in Lower Ten” by Mary Roberts Rinehart. It's a classic mystery written in 1909. It has twists, turns, a spooky mansion, and lots of humor!
That book sounds awesome! Thanks for watching! Happy Halloween 🎃
Oh my gosh, the mummy cookie is so cute! 🎃I'm currently reading The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes and have just started Murder in the Scottish Highlands by Dee MacDonaald (it's on Kindle Unlimited). Every year in October, I make it a point to re-read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and I did that just a few days ago. Thanks for sharing! 📚
I love a good Scottish cozy mystery! Let me know if the Dee MacDonald book is good. Thanks for watching and Happy Halloween! 🎃
I haven't read Darci Hannah's new series but I love the Beacon Bakeshop series. In the last week, I read Scooping Up Scandal by Emmie Lyn (Fall), Sleep in Heavenly Pizza by Mindy Quigley (Winter), In the Blink of a Pie by Catherine Bruns (Fall), and Hanging by a Thread by Dorothy Howell. Two other books I read the week before last that I recommend are A Berry Suspicious Death by Peg Cochran (Fall) and Boulevard of Broken Creams by Sarah Fox (Spring). I've had a great reading month. I hope you had a great reading month too.
I love the Beacon Bakeshop series too! Try the Fatal Feast at Bramsford Hall. You will like it. Thanks for watching and Happy Halloween! 🎃
@ I’ll add it to my TBR. Thanks for the recommendation! Happy Halloween to you too! 🎃👻🧛♂️
I don’t like the lust instituted into the story which is irrelevant to the story. It’s annoying hearing others lustful thoughts. I’m reading “Fall to Pieces” and it’s great! I never knew this was a genre … I’m a quilter and crafter and just discovered you. ❤
Thanks for watching! I’ve seen Fall To Pieces. It looks cute! I will check it out.
Why are you shaking the books which you want to show us? 😅 Hard to read the title and get a good screenshot of it. Hah "here you go, this is a good book, but I am preventing you from learning what it is?" 😅
Just keeping you on your toes.
I love this so much! They are all going on my TBR pile. Have you got any suggestions for a fantasy/cosy mystery series? (Also, your voice is really quiet compared to your intro)
Thanks for watching! I’m new to cozy fantasies, but I read Legends and Lattes and absolutely LOVED it! It was so good. Thanks for letting me know about the video sound. I’m using new editing software, and I’m still figuring it out.
@@cozymysteryteatime2916 omgosh I LOVE legends and lattes! Playing around with new software is always fun and challenging. What are you using?
I love Nancy Warren and Amanda Flower. Thank you for the other recommendations. I am excited to check them out!
Thanks for watching!
I love another series by Tonya Kappes, Ghostly Southern Mystery. It's a cozy paranormal mystery and funny too.
I have t read that series yet! Will definitely have to try it. ☺️
Perfect timing. Fall is the season of binge reading cozies and nobody will tell me otherwise 😂❤
That’s right!!
This sounds like a fun series! Are any other members of the royal family in the book or is it just the Queen?
This sounds like a good series. The part that the MC can only stay in Scotland for 6 months intrigues me. I've never read that in a cozy before. Plus, the Chicago connection always gets me to try a series as that's where I live. Thanks for sharing!
Give it a try and tell me what you think! Jealous you live in Chicago - such a great city!! Thanks for watching. 😊
So exciting! 👏🏻 I _might_ be a little obsessed with Castle Combe and the Costwolds as a whole! 😬 The countryside *and* the bookshops sound amazing! 📚 Great book picks! I hope you enjoy them, thank you for sharing!
I share your obsession! Lol 😂 there is just something about the Cotswolds!! Thanks for watching!
Wow! So many great suggestions and I’m going to check them out. I’ve had an obsession with cozy mysteries set in the English countryside for awhile now so these should be perfect. Thank you. Happy reading!
Happy reading to you too, and thanks for watching! 😊
😹🥳😹🥳
😻🤗 📚 🥳
That sounds like an amazing trip! I can’t wait to hear what you think of The Windsor Knot.
Thanks!! I will let you know how it goes!
I couldn’t get the first one from my library but I’m reading the second one. I can’t resist anthropomorphic animals.
I think it’s the kind of series that you should be able to follow along without reading them in order. What do you think so far? I loved the second one!
Thank you! I am interested in the first two. I will check those out. 😁
Definitely! Thanks for watching! 😊
Nice choices I couldn’t agree more. I read the Maid this year and enjoyed its cozy mystery vibes❤
I’m reading the Maid right now! I like it so far.
The Shady Hollow series looks so good. I've been meaning to pick up book 1, especially since I like other quirky cozies.
It is so good! You have to read it! I had a physical book for the first and audiobook for the second and third. The audiobook narrator is great.
Nice picks! My top 3 new to me cozy mystery series I read in 2023 are Nick and Nora Mysteries by TC LoTempio, A Horse Rescue Mysteries by Amber Camp, and Christie Bookshop Mysteries by Ann Claire. Hopefully, you discover more wonderful books in 2024!
I’ve wanted to read the Nick and Nora series! I will put it on my 2024 list for sure. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@cozymysteryteatime2916 I can't wait to hear what you think of Nick and Nora. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Thank you for sharing these
I loved Death By A Thousand Sips by Gretchen Rue and recommend it. Bob the cat is more heavily featured in Book 2. I couldn’t get into Book 1 in the Valona Jones series. I’m not continuing that series.
Good to know!
thank you
That was great, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
I love this show!!! Have you seen Queens of Mystery
I LOVE Queens of Mystery! I can’t wait for the next season.
Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read - Isaiah 34:16
I love Father Brown, miss Fisher (I agree the costumes and settings are gourgious). I also loved the Shakespeare and Hathaway series. I haven’t heard of the other series you mentioned though.
I’m currently reading the three dog problem by Bennett the second book in the her majesty the queen investigates. Which I think is a bit better than the first one. In the second book you get to learn much more about the main characters. It’s an enjoyable read, but not absolutely brilliant though
I don't like unnecessary, yawn inducing dialogue in a cozy mystery. Sometimes I drift off and never return...
Agreed!
The Dinner Lady Detectives sounds particularly good to me! I'm working my way through Laura Levine's Jaine Austen cozy series, so humorous!
I’ve been wanting to read the Jane Austen cozies! Good to know that they’re good. Thanks for watching! 😊
I read Arsenic and Adobo last year. It was a good cozy mystery.
My best friend used to be PTA president. It sounds like the characters may be based on real life!
It’s possible! The characters in this one are so good. Thanks for watching! 😊
I’ll definitely put this on my TBR list. Thanks for the suggestion. 👍
Thanks for watching! 😊
so clear, thanks!
I just added this to my Kindle, so I'm excited to start reading! Your cozy _friend_ looks like an Edgar to me! 💀
OMG I love Edgar! Great suggestion! 😀
You are making want to read this series. I don’t think I’ve ever read a cozy set in Florida but I do love the beach and sunny days. Also, I’m a coffee lover. The name for your friend that first came to mind is Bones.
It’s a different kind of cozy - instead of sweater weather and fall leaves, it’s sunny and charming beach town. I liked it. And yes to Bones!! Lol Thanks for watching. ☺️
Yes!
Love this series
I love Mystery 101. I hope Hallmark continues that series.
Me too!
Thanks for this, it’s really hard to find them when Netflix does not have a “Cozy Mysteries” search!😊
I really wish they would make it easier to search for!
Have you read Seams Like Murder by Dorothy Howell? Did you like it?
I haven’t read it yet, but it’s in my TBR pile. 😀
@@cozymysteryteatime2916 It's on my TBR pile too.
I love ‘em
I love audiobooks too. You can do other things while listening to an audiobook. There are so many great audiobook narrators out there. I love Allyson Ryan, Theresa Plummer, Cassandra Campbell, Erin Bennett, and Marguerite Gavin. The way I choose cozy mystery series in 2022 was by audiobook narrator. I definitely listened to more audiobooks last year because of picking series this way.
I love that tip - picking the audiobook based on the narrator because if the narrator is off, I have a hard time listening. Thanks!
Great reccs! Thank you. 📚🍄☕️
Thanks for watching! 😀❤️
I have Peaches and Screams on my TBR!
I loved it! The narrator was good on this one.
