Blacknose wines and olive oil: born in the wild north of Ibiza
Tucked away in the rolling Saint Joan de Labritja mountains in the rugged north of Ibiza are the vineyard, the highest in Ibiza, and olive terraces of Blacknose.
I spoke to Peter Lehner of Blacknose who, together with brother Tino, is a co-creator of Blacknose. The brothers combine respect for traditional methods, Swiss wine growing knowhow and a philosophical approach to making organic wine and extra virgin olive oil in Ibiza.

Major disadvantage is the tourism. Even now in April. Getting in town by car should be allowed only to residents. Others would have to walk a bit. The beauty is swollen by endless traffic.

Hotel Sa Vall or Hotel Bordoy Continental would fall within the reasonable category although that can mean something different for everybody. Hope this helps.
Is it possible to travel to Valdemossa by train or bus? And while you there can you get away without renting a car ? Thank you
Hi there, yes it is possible to take the bus from the Estacio Intermodal in Palma to Valldemossa. Train doesn't go all the way to Valldemossa. Thank you.
To think that the village of Deia, once the very simple and remote refuge of Robert Graves AND Laura Riding, is now the swanky playground of the world's super-rich, a place where they can talk all day about money, property, "luxury", drink, Michelin stars and of course money, money, money.

This is a trend that we are seeing, the most creative and explorative discover new beautiful places which inspire them to create and show the world the beauty. Slowly these places attract more and more attention. Alongside locals and foreigners new homes, hotels and restaurants are created. There are so many individual stories that weave this village together. Yes it is very different to how it was and a positive part of what we see within this are passionate people looking to preserve and conserve this beautiful coast line.

Garages count as part of your buildable allocation for the plot and due to island restrictions most people opt for more living spaces than a place for their cars. In urban parts of the island it is more common to see garages, less so in the countryside. Hope this helps. The Charles Marlow Team
