I've just purchased a Mannlicher schönauer m72, and I'm considering one of these. The one I was looking at has a 50mm objective lens. I'm not sure if it will be too big for that rifle though. The European hunters seem to like the large objective.

It looks very similar to the Webley tempest I had when I was a kid.

I shot the middle of a daisy with one of them lol toral fluke but it was a hell of a shot and pistol

Got a webley scott junior it looks the same but no knurling on the barrel and its silver

The R93 & R 98 are most definitely not exactly the same system. The R93 locked by pressure whereas, the R8 has a definitive locking position. Totally different inasmuch as the position of the lock expansion.

I Had one like this a Wembley tempest when i was a kid. its crazy they kept that design from way back mine was a newer version was a really good gun

I found this out recently maybe you'd be interested. Those Remington accuptips. You can google this too, I had too to believe it lol. The accutips, those are Hornady SST's. They get em' from Hornady and paint the tip gold :)

Had the gat gun. Then a Wembley tempest air rifle. Then had 1 I put 2pences in to shorten spring. 95 attempts as a kid a black eye scar for life but 1 shot any rabbit 1.77 peleyes.

I bought a webley tempest .22cal from an old fella as a 12 year old in Sheffield and used it a lot, it looks very similar to this but it has a thumb safety on the left above the pistol grip. It’s still in my possession tucked away.

I've got 1 of these in 308 must say the rifle did not group that well when using a bipod when I did load development for it. Shot over a bag I found a big difference in group size big improvement.

I stil have a webley junior and a premier mk2 from the 1970s both with the boxes and still shoot as well as when they were new

I have a webley .177 junior from my childhood, I'm 56 would love to get it refurbed
