No, we didn’t see Christmas last season because keep in mind that as of episode five all of this has happened within the same year. The first season starts right after they come back from Christmas break in January, and then episode five of this season finishes out that year.

It's never been the case to get surgeries under, like, the age of medical consent unless in these extreme circumstances, which are rare, and cis people tend to make up most gender-affirming surgeries done under that age (like breast augmentation, lip filler, etc.)

Joe Locke's understated acting is now really paying off (as he kearned to be louder as a character). The scene where Charlie talks to his parents and then it oans to Tori (and Tori's little handhold im the car after Charlie's residential care)... really got me.

James Fleet, who plays the older/"current" King George (though his appearances are brief), does not get enough credit or buzz for his performances. Nor is he ever included in any of the PR rounds made for the series. Which is kind of sad. It could be his choice; perhaps he doesn't care to be put on display and be asked the same inane questions over and over again. And granted, he doesn't have much screen time. But his scenes are very impactful and so wonderfully portrayed.

They said its a 2 part film because they really want to expand on the story. Some part of the plot in the musical feel rushed like for example, how Elphaba and Glinda went from enemies to friends soo quickly. The movie will expand on their friendship so that you can really feel these things when you get to the Emerald City.

It makes me happy when another person falls in love with this show...it's so good! My favorite episode is ep 3...I love when James isn't afraid to tell Ruby how he feels, even though he's still afraid to stand up to his jerk of a father. And obviously, the staircase scene/honest James moment🤌🏽🫠 Can't wait for S2!

We BETTER get more than 6 episodes in season 2.

It's a small detail, but as someone who reads romance and loves all things romance, I love that the writers had Ruby and James pause the make-up scene to have a conversation about why James broke up with her in the first place and didn't just skip over that and James apologized and acknowledged how much he hurt Ruby and had her go through this rollercoaster of emotions of thinking none of what they were feeling for each other was real and he was just using her, even though he did it because he cares about her so much.

I want Ruby and Lydia to be best friends goals next season.

I completely agree about the bullet journaling aspect. I always wanted to do that, too. Looks super helpful and organized. Aww, why not go and do another theater thing? If you love it, you definitely should 🙂 Favorite part(s) of this show is the banter with the leads.

Off topic, but since you mentioned Bridgerton - have you heard Damian (James’s actor) was casted as the main character for a coming-of-age drama alongside India Amarteifio (young Queen Charlotte)? The author of the book saw Maxton Hall and knew he’s right for the role. So excited to see him in English-speaking movie. 🙂
