Did you put a exhaust manifold to head pipe gasket?looks like you just put liquid gasket on it. you need to use that gasket or you are gonna fry another motor.

Hook up a flush fitting to the cylinder head and run it on the hose and get your cooling hoses figured out before taking it to the lake and siezing the engine. Remember engine on then tirn on the water. Water off then stop the engine. Haveca shutoff close to the flysh futting so you can stop the water if the engine stalls. Don't crank the hose up either.

The engine was very hot and he was throwing water, :( everything must warp lol

Is that the "with AC" model? It looks very different from the one in my '70 C-10. Mine is the non-AC unit.

That's why you need a cutaway side cover, so you can check clearance and see into the engine. You need to take an old side cover and cut it so you can see into the engine while it holds the crank and camshaft into place.

Just to let you know the proper pronunciation of the wrench, you said it's one forth, but it's a 1/4 in.

The exhaust gasket is supposed to cover the water jackets in the manifold/to the B-pipe. You used 5200 and left those water jackets open. They need to be blocked by gasket. Or it wont cool. I read in the comments that you figured out. What was it???!

you need a gasket on that exhaust. and double check your cooling lines. looks like you pisser is blocked off on the side of the exhaust.
