Shimano spheros inshore . About 120 bucks and it's sealed. I've had my 3000 for about 3 years now and easily 75 salmon. All I have to do is lube it once a year in the gearbox and grease the line roller occasionally.

I don't wanna be that guy but get a decent reel if you love fishing. Will a $50 reel work? Yes, for a period of time. Quality reels are built better and made with better materials. I've been fishing for over 30 years and 10 of that has been commercial/charter fishing. I've bought crap rod and reels and used them until they break but I've spent $250 on a just a bass reel and it's lasted over 15 years to date and still working

Offroading ? Your literally driving on maintained road lmao. Outbacks are good for driving in a couple inches of snow. If you need anything more then that you should buy a chain saw , truck and a winch. Fucking citiots buying a suburu and driving a couple hours north kill me . Almost as bad as jeep drivers
