I recently purchased my first camera ever, the Sony ZV-E10, and if you're a complete beginner with using cameras you're in good company.
I've never been much of a vlogger, so I wanted to try my hand at recording and uploading daily vlogs to my channel. Just to see if I can do it. This is a true vlog challenge, especially for someone who isn't much a vlogger and doesn't have the kind of lifestyle made for vlogging.

Hey man! Can u help me ? Im starting making vids for djs and Im thinking about to grab a tascan to records the audio, music & crowd. What do u think? Good idea or just a rode mic on top of the camera? Thanks man! Also, zv e10 ii is good for this? Day and night recording.
ZV E10 II would be great. It’s more expensive but it’s a good camera! As far as audio, I think finding a way to get the audio you’re looking to record separately would be the best. The audio all together would sound bad imo
Any recommendations for mukbang video styles? Im sick of the blurs between me n my food😢
Increase you f-stop. Higher f-stop would give less focal blur. I shot this at f2.8. Try f7 or f9
For some reason I a unable to click pictures from my ZVE10 which wasn't the case when I bought it. I clicked something I guess and disabled the setting. Please help me

Sadly fulaim not available in any marketplace in my country, it is sound great. Wait, you don’t use any lighting? The color of your video is really good, warm and natural so comfortable to look at. Just room light or sun from window?
Sometimes I do, but this day was a clear sunny day so I used the light from my window.

Yes. Everything after my “Sony ZV E10 with a complete beginner” video are all with this lens.

The lens is way less expensive than most other wide angle lenses and the mic set it half the price of the ones everyone talks about. That’s what I’m saying. 😅

Thanks for the video. It looks very professional! I just bought the same camera and DJI mic 2 yesterday so I’m about to start learning also. This video gives me more hope because I am overwhelmed lol. I actually plan to visit Denver in September and use them to record my trip.

It takes some learning and trial and error.
@itsstrez Yes, I have to do a setup because it is very close to what I want to film. If I can't solve it I will definitely continue with my phone.

I guess it depends on the kind of footage you want to get. You can do more with a GoPro imo but the ZV E10 can do almost as much.

I'm my worst own critic, I have recording equipment but paralyzed with anxiety to start doing ANYTHING with it. It's exhausting.
Tip: Record 5 minute videos of yourself talking about/doing anything but don’t post them. That’ll help you gain confidence while on camera!
What video games do you play? And where would you live stream, TH-cam or Twitch?
Mostly just fortnite. And I stream here on TH-cam!

Hey man. Just watched another TH-cam who I follow check out the Mark II. His opinion is that it's not worth upgrading, and I agree. Sure, I hadn't purchased the ZV-E10 this year, MAYBE. But no, I chose to spend my money on a gimbal I've been wanting for a while. I'll look forward to your review should you choose to upgrade.
I haven’t even come close to understanding the original version! Hahaha When I’m ready for an upgrade, I’ll probably be taking a big step up in cameras.

Since we are beginners as well, we had a question. At the end you give advice on the settings for the sound, but we noticed you are using a wireless microphone. Will the setting have to be different without using an external microphone? Many thanks in advance.
It definitely would! There is a display option that shows your audio levels. I would suggest using that one and mess around with it until you find the input level that works best for your needs!

It's kind of nice to see a beginners video where there's a beginner on both ends of the lens. I'm assuming you were already good at talking to camera, from your football channel. The concept is a useful addition to the content out there.

It can absolutely do all of those things. I love the lens i use as well. Viltrox 20mm f2.8
