More money than brains. You seem to think more expensive is better. 50 1.2 is such a waste of money.

I'm against the idea of wedding hosts not allowing or providing food for photographers. The photographer is there to do the hosts a favour in terms of recording images etc of their big day. The photographer is under huge amounts of pressure as well, so the least the wedding can do is to provide the photographer with food.

I regret to have bought a camera Canon 760D EOS in 2017, I think I should have bought a D6 at the time (more professional camera?) because it was not really more expensive. What do you think guys? But I love my camera anyway, it has a nice touch screen, and as a beginner hobbyst, I take beautiful photos with it. :)

I have a Canon EOS 7, the previous version to the 7e, I love it, is very unobtrusive. I have a jupiter 37a lens, I'd like a Pentax Spotmatic or a Chinon to use it, but well I am just getting more film instead. You have both a nice collection and nice photographs : )

Just came on over from the CNBC video. I love your vibe and of course your photos. Any suggestions for getting hired as an assistant? I’m still an amateur photographer but want nothing more than to travel for photos and dive all in to photography 📸

Back in the film days, I would put 60-100 rolls of film thru the T2. Sometime in the third year the camera stopped working properly. I sent it in and sold it when it came back. I just stuck with my Leicas for a smaller camera.

Loved the review! Def played with the idea of buying one of these every so often. Sticking with the A7c for my everyday carry.

I guess you photoshoot in many states of the U.S, what is great because soon, you will have visited almost all States. Some people working everyday 9to5 at the same office would dream about that :)

I've assisted a few more traditional photographers at weddings and most of them tend to use HUGE lighting set ups like the ad600 with giant soft boxes. Do you have any experience with those? I was planning on going that route but If those don't make a huge difference then I'd rather not cary so much gear.

You can buy Canon & Nikon consumer SLR cameras for as little as $10 so when the electronics eventually fail you can just go buy another one, the bonus being they will take your EF or F glass and will have autofocus & metering.

An update: The Canon 600 EXII-RT flash is now my go to and I have rechargeable batteries for it!
