This game is still fun to pick up and play. Sting and the giant are my favorite ones to play as in this game. Here's a secret in the game, there's a wrestler called the unknown in this game and he has a submission hold that's like an eye rake submission when you press A near a downed opponent's head and if you do it a few times to a masked wrestler it will tear the front of the mask away. I always thought that was so cool and was never done in the other wrestling games

Dude this was awesome. So much better to play the real carts. I actually never tried this wrestling game before but now I want to! And I also only buy boxed N64 games now too.

Merry Christmas! How did I forget that you were getting the Ice Blue N64? I was thinking you just got the standard gray color. I love the Ice Blue! Beautiful color! And this is the aesthetic of the late 90s that is my favorite, the transparent colored stuff. This was THE thing from 1998-2002 and it was my favorite thing as a kid and still my favorite thing now! And yeah having the Expansion Pak is nice too! It's gotten expensive to buy the Expansion Pak by itself now so the fact it's already included is nice. Kirby and the Crystal Shards is a great game! A shame the label is damaged but I guess it'll do until you pick up a copy with a better label. The controller color is definitely different. They are both Nintendo brand and both are definitely the Japanese versions, but maybe the controller they bought wasn't the original for the console and was in a smoky home? Or simply saw a lot more sunlight than the console did. Not sure but I agree the controller color is definitely different. I do believe the same hookups work between N64 and GameCube. So they kept the same hookups between SNES, N64, and GameCube which is pretty neat. I also know the Wii is backward compatible with GameCube so I'm not surprised if the Wii also uses the same hookups, don't quote me on that though. Yeah the WCW game looks like it could be a fun game. I didn't grow up on wrestling but I did play a PS2 wrestling game that was actually pretty fun. And very nice Smash box! When it comes to cartridge games, I'm only going to focus on boxes of games that mean a lot to me or the box art is really cool. Smash 64 is both of those for me. I have a lot of nostalgia for the OG Smash and I love the box art too. I only have the game loose but I'd love to get the box for it.

The bass boost makes the sound off because it brings the bass frequencies to the front. I normally turn it off, and I normally turn off the filters, too, but that's my preference.
