2024 needs a band like this and 2025

I was there. Stumbled into the main stage area expecting to see the Libertines, if memory serves. I think maybe they bailed and Supergrass were a last minute addition? Regardless, what I remember most vividly is this performance, and as others have said, particularly the guitar solo at the end, which moved me to tears.

Seriously, though... Gaz Coombes surpasses Damon Albarn and both Gallagher brothers by every conceivable metric. I will never understand why Supergrass didn't become one of the biggest bands in the world in the 90s.

I went Glasto 03 and 04. Was near the front left of Gaz for this. If memory serves Morrissey was on after or just before. Always remember Supergrass performance as a standout. I was 21.Times of our lives. Never thought leaving the site I wouldn't return for all these years. I returned this year 20 years after as a coach driver, drop off and back to London... Fucking bollocks.
