Blue Revolver Double Action - Hyper Stasis Field 1CC - 117Million
My first time breaking through 100 million. I know DA has a higher score threshold in general but the arbitrary-ness of the 100 makes it so juicy. Much room for improvement and optimization but I got to show off the power of Double-Action Stasis.

A commentary of my Crimzon Clover Arcade Original 1 Credit Clear using the Type-Z ship. I discuss the conditions under which I cleared, a few tips and tricks, and observations about the themes and demands of Crimzon Clover. This really was quite the journey and I'm happy to be on the other side. Shooting game never die. Outro splash screen by Aaron Kraten.

Replay of my Crimzon Clover 1 credit clear on Arcade Original using Ship Type-Z. This game was a total bruiser and cost me almost 60 hours to complete. The run was live on twitch (this is just the in-game replay) and was undoubtedly my best Crimzon Clover performance from performance to elegance. Amazing game, commentated version coming soon.
Crawlin' with Jerm: Infra Arcana second dive

Crawl with Jerm - Infra Arcana First Dive (Traditional Roguelike)

I don't just play shmups! I absolutely love traditional roguelikes, and as soon as Infra Arcana slipped into my sight I knew I had to play. This is a totally blind run, with only my wits and hundreds of hours of DCSS to keep me going. This game turned out to be amazingly atmospheric and the tactics/exploration flavor was on 100% the whole time. Can't wait to play some more :) I'll probably thro...

Have you ever played Contra 4
You just watch. Contra 4 clear incoming now
First
They should just have called this weapon "Mars Matrix" :)
I actually only learned about Mars Matrix's weapon system after I made this guide! I probably would have used it for reference when explaining the systems had I known haha. Thanks for watching I appreciate your time!
This special sounds like Royal Guard in the Devil May Cry 3 and beyond part of the franchise. Thanks for the guide
I have yet to play a DMC game (although I played a bonkers amount of Bayonetta) but this comment inspired me to give it a try! If it's anything like the stasis field I'm sold Very glad you liked the guide and thank you for checking it out!
Congrats!! Can’t wait to watch! “mother of all things holy…” I’m going to quote you on that lol
Enjoyed this a lot - nicely done! I'd say you achieved the chill feel you were going for. And who doesn't love a great traditional roguelike? Have subscribed and will keep an eye out for more. All the best!
Glad you found it and vibed with it! My channel is pretty much whenever I get a Shmup 1CC or feel like showing off something like a good game. The new Shiren has me thinking about another dungeon crawler vid. I appreciate your time!
@jermanator181 woah, Shiren? That's my favorite game series of all time! Id like to hear how you feel about the latest one!
@@Alanis1337 Thanks for checking this out! Shiren (alongside really the entire gamut of Mystery Dungeon games) is really something special to me. However, I decided not to purchase the most recent Shiren yet for two reasons: 1. the current price point is just a hair too high to justify considering how much time I am currently spending with fighting games, 2. I actually haven't done everything in Shiren 5 that I've wanted to! There's just so much end game content in the game that I feel is pushing my overall skill with the series further that I haven't felt the push to move onto the new one. I will admit, I was initially a little put off by the switch from rich 2d spritework to 3D models, but seeing some gameplay footage with it in motion totally got me over that as well. The time will come for me and Shiren 6 though, no doubt about that. Have a great day!
I love how calm you sound talking about “popping off” and “talking s**t” lol. Great commentary. It’s remarkable how clear you are about your thinking during play after the fact. I want to watch the live tun now!
Well first off thank you for checking this out! I really appreciate your time and comment. Crimzon Clover was such a visceral experience that I was able to dredge up the emotions and strategy associated simply by watching back the replay. I love your shmup commentaries by the way! As for the live run, while the whole thing no longer exists, I did clip the final pop off if you’d like to check it out! clips.twitch.tv/HungrySuperNeanderthalNotATK-c3kPQctAQLGfDdC1
Congrats on the clear. I love CC to death great video.
Thanks for taking the time to watch! CC made its way up to some top shmups after this experience. Hope your own shmuppin is going well
Excellent commentary!
Thanks for checking it out and glad you liked it!
Solid run and commentary, man! Enjoyed every minute of it and you banged this one out pretty fast. Yeah, if there’s one thing that is very apparent, it’s that CC’s level of craftsmanship sets a very high standard. The deliberate design choices you touch on are seen from the moment the run begins all the way through the tlb’s final attack pattern. It truly is a masterpiece experience and I can only imagine what they could create going forward. Thanks for putting this together!
Thank you for checking this out! I used your guide for a few ideas and strats so I owe thanks where it’s due. This game really was something incredible and in hindsight I really loved the process of tackling it.
@@jermanator181Always happy to serve and glad you enjoyed the process!
Congrats brother, what a fantastic run! CC is a daunting and exhausting game, I was getting nervous just watching you play towards the end. Your commentary is quite insightful, you managed to put into words some of the reasons I like the game so much. It's a shmup that tests your skills in many different ways but it does so with very deliberate, intentionally designed patterns that feel logically put together to offer a unique experience. CC is the first shmup I fell in love with and put serious time into and it's great to see you had a similar experience. I can also 100% relate to the experience of going between shmups and fighting games and while it does feel good it is also challenging to avoid information overload at times.
Thanks for checking this out! I really appreciate your time. I’m glad the commentary was enjoyable, I also definitely watched your clear/commentary during the process of tackling this beast. As for fighting games, I made the mistake of trying Tekken 8 for almost 8 hours today, turns out I’ve got a new obsession! I won’t take such a big break from shmups for a bit though; I’m looking for my next clear already! Good luck gamer!
@@jermanator181 Yeah, I'm already 10 hours deep into T8 as well... So many good games!
Great run and very cerebral commentary 🧠 with that level of insight and skill you'll be able to take on any shmup
Thanks! Glad the brain factor was nice and big. Thanks for uploading your clear, I was happy to copy paste a few strats from you and always appreciated the advice/tech.
Awesome run and commentary! I've never tried stasis, you've convinced me to give it a go, parallel still on my to-do list.
Thanks for checking it out! Stasis field is my favorite shmup weapon of all time and making this guide was one of the most fulfilling gaming/creative experiences I've had. Good luck with your Stasis runs, I guarantee they'll be tense and unique.
Nice ❤
41:00 Spells seem to have a few hidden effects as well. Bless reduces the shock gain from casting other spells, so typically the first spell cast if casting a long string of spells. See invisible allows you to detect the presence of creatures inside dark areas without having to turn on your lantern, etc. I don't know all of the hidden effects but this is something I noticed.
Thanks for this info! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and give some advice!
crazy good game.
Totally! But hot damn does it get spicy right out of the gate. Thanks for checking this out!
The way you approach games and "mind state" always fascinates me, I really dont get the "practice" thing, I just fire the game up and go pew pew... XD I just watched your chat with Dace, super cool!
Thank you for checking this (and my meet the player) out! The “anyways I started blasting” approach seems to work for quite a lot of people! I will say my system for improvement has, itself, improved with time (at least to be more effective for me). I find the mind-state/mental stack/dedicated practice approach to help me compartmentalize my decision making and allow for more consistent play. But also it’s a really fun way to understand a game in my opinion! I love the feeling of fighting the machine and reaching a state of “hyper awareness” that’s backed up by all my training. I can’t say it’s any better or worse than any other method but it sure is fun! I’m working on a new 1CC & discussion regarding skill transferability so I hope you’ll stop by for some more chatter.
When it says your surroundings changed, it just randomized the area around you. You were not actually teleported.
Good to know! I figured it was a Good old fashioned Tele trap
A note on the lantern: it costs 3 turns of the lantern each time you toggle it on. Below is a quote from the developer about this: "When shock goes above 100% there is a three turn countdown before insanity rises, and if shock goes below 100% this three turn countdown is reset (this is so you can get a chance to step away from a tomb or whatever). So if activating the lantern only cost 1 lantern turn, then if you have 100% shock and want to reach the stairs, it would let you do something like toggling the lantern on then immediately off to reset the countdown, then move a step (or two?), then toggling it on/off again, repeat until you reach the stairs. This would clearly be horrible gameplay yet it would be the optimal thing to do. It's also somewhat realistic as flipping it on and off a lot would probably damage it (perhaps the lantern turns are an abstraction of both condition and battery charge)."
This is excellent tech thanks for the insight! I definitely could have used my lantern more sparingly then after I locked those reanimated corpses behind the door. Thank you!
Think you will beat the game at some point? I can not find a full playthrough online.
I’m trying! Can’t say how soon it will be, this game is an absolute bruiser and I’m still quite new to it. I would recommend Tonehack if you’re looking for a better player than me, but even he is still in the learning process. Feel free to ask any questions and I’m happy to dive into the game to find out! Thanks for checking this out
@@jermanator181 Thanks. I have been watching Tonehack as well as playing the game myself. I have gotten to level 10 or so and started resorting to save-scumming to save time leveling back up when I die, but I am not really good enough at the game to reliably finish it. Good luck on your playthrough!
Amazing episode. I can relate to so much stuff. I loved the story about Eric and you getting in touch ne playing Gunvein for fun. Even better that it sparked your joy for shmups again. Thank you for sharing this and encouraging others to reflect on skill level. Novice/Easy/Mild modes are there for a reason. I am certain that over time and with practice, Shmup players will naturally reach the next step on the ladder when they get more confident. Keep it up.
Thank you so much for checking this out! I owe a lot to Eric for just being a friendly fun dude and wanting to play shmups that day, I don’t know if my path in the genre would have gone the same. It was pretty hard to share “failure” but really it was just a single stumble in a much larger journey. I’m glad you enjoyed it! Good luck on your next clear!
Yo. I really liked this. :) I totally feel the immersion you get from this game. To me, this is how D&D should always feel, but sometimes it's a struggle just because there's so much overhead to tabletop games. I hope you do feel like showing some more of this game or other traditional roguelikes!
Thanks for checking it out! I’ll absolutely do more Infra Arcana, but I’ll also be showing off some other Traditionals. I really wanted another Avenue on the channel for laid back vids that make good background noise as well. Funnily enough, these games can also fall into the mould of going for “clears” with a run so it’s not too far of a departure haha.
@@jermanator181cool! Yeah, I've thought the same about shmups and roguelikes! I look forward to more. I gotta say though, I couldn't work through this haha
43:25 As a Ghoul you should use Incite Frenzy a lot in general, but this would have been a perfect occasion for it, as it would have removed your fear.
Thanks for the tip! I definitely didn’t make the smartest plays on this run haha, I got a bit swept away in how immersed I was that I forgot the commandments of trad Roguelikes! Thanks a ton for checking this out I’m definitely going to be playing more
I wonder if it's something with the recording or what's going on, but not all game sounds seem to be playing? I can hear attack sounds for example, but never doors opening.
9:00 There actually used to be an altar there. But I removed it because standing by an altar causes you to cast spells at a higher level - and the intro level is supposed to be 100% optional and provide no benefits (as far as possible, there is probably some tiny benefit you can achieve). It is only there as an story framing device, and also gravestones and statues will appear on the map when you die/win. If the altar was there it could risk making the level mandatory for optimal play, e.g. by casting some upgraded buffing spell. You can disable the intro level in the options to skip directly to the dungeon when starting a new game. Also another thing about the church building, it's supposed to be more "ruined" with walls randomly destroyed. However in v22.0.0 this doesn't happen due to a bug. It's already fixed on the develop branch though so in v22.0.1 the building will look more "decrepit and old" :)
nice video! s.field is very much a weapon that rewards knowledge, and you apply that knowledge very well. WP!
Woah thanks for checking out this run! I love the game! Stasis Field is such a cool weapon I love how it’s designed, how did you come up with it?
@@jermanator181 first draft of the weapon was a reflect field a la takumi games -- found this a bit too easy to use with the ammo system, so made it like slow down shots like guwange's shikigami system -- but even a defensive weapon needs some scoring potential, so the energy release was implemented. i like retro games / stgs where your position on screen is the closest thing you get to "aiming", so i've grown to appreciate the oddball spiral firing that shoots behind you first. i remember STK getting this down to a fine art, using the release to the side of or ahead of enemies to get score with only a little bit of charge, but i'm sure you've seen their replays
Until today I never saw that replay. I developed all my strategies myself and never even checked the online replays. Thank you for exposing me to this I can learn so much from this! Can you give a bit more detail about what you mean by stasis’s spiral attack release starts behind? It seems to be a bit random when you just tap the special.
@@jermanator181 the spiral attack is semi-random, let's see if i can properly describe how it works: it starts by picking a random angle in an 180-degree arc from up to right to down, then the spiral works in a clockwise fashion, incrementing the angle with each release shot fired, so with only a little energy the discharge tends to end up going behind you. that's what i meant, sorry if i was misleading
@@danbo2401 Dude thank you for the info! I've really been trying to tighten up this run as I'll be playing it for Shmup Slam 6, and any mechanical insight is welcome! Another question, is the damage done by each bullet in the spiral flat? Like, a quick charge that only shoots 3/4 shots out of the bottom right vs. a full charge that shoots the entire 360 degrees? I know there's more bullets so dumping a full charge smack dab on top of a boss will do more, but is it only due to number of shots and not the individual power of each?
Wow man! Congrats on the progress thus far. Everything is looking pretty good! It was really fun to see the progress real-time in this vid and I'm looking forward to the next episode. :) I agree it's really difficult to hold a specific "type" of focus over time. I can only hold one type so long before the mind jitters into some other form and I focus on something else. IDK how much we can really force ourselves to continue refocusing either before it's just too mentally taxing. Interesting observation... Likewise, I think it's very difficult to just practice the same section over and over again. Maybe you wouldn't want to do this for this video (heck, maybe you would), but I suggest not retrying the same training sequence more than twice in a row as an experiment for yourself. For instance, play S5MB1 once or twice in a row, and then go play a different training sequence, and then come back to S5MB1. For me, this gives my mind the opportunity to reset. It also helps manage tilt. It's kind of like a form of "spaced repetition" or applying the "spacing effect. I don't know if these concepts actually apply to training shmups, but I still find it beneficial. It may also help with that mental stacking effect you talked about.
Thanks for checking this one out! I know it was paced a little differently but I’m glad the unedited approach worked. I sort of did the space repetition by somewhat solidifying the strat and then converting it into stage-runs, but maybe it’ll be better to try two quite different goals (say scoring stage 2 then jumping back to a midboss) to see if I can lock down the lessons learned. Hope you liked this one and look forward to more insights in the shmup slam journey!
@@jermanator181 Definitely looking forward to more!
Interesting thoughts on mental stack - I’ll be putting some of those ideas to use for sure in future shmup runs!
Hope it helps! Thanks for checking it out man
The presentation on this game is dope! I love the explosion of numbers! That was a really nice run but you were totally robbed. I could swear you had a good chunk longer of invincibility from your last bomb usage (~31:10). Was this made by the same guy as Like Dreamer? I haven't played the Dreamer games but this looks pretty similar. Have you played either of those? Curious how this compared but I think this looks like more fun! I just really like the presentation a lot. I enjoyed the commentary and this style of vid. Just light-hearted fun. :)
I think there's some relation between the Like Dreamer Dev and this game, but I didn't look too far into it. I haven't played either, but I have watched a 1CC run. I didn't realize until after the fact, but this game borrows the Ketsui combat system which is pretty cool. It's so cheap for such a legit good time I can't help but recommend it. Visually it's just rainbow vomit and I couldn't help but go back for some more. Maybe one day the intense clear will be on the horizon. Thanks for the view, glad you liked this style of vid! I'll probably do some more if a random passing game catches my eye and isn't too pricey.
I'm no where near your level or really alot of folks in the community but I do think its important to know your limits and be able to admit to yourself when there are certain things that are beyond your reach. Thats not to say that limits can't change but like I know I'll probably never clear certain games and I certainly know I'll never be the type of player to be at the top of scoring and thats ok. I play and enjoy shmups despite that and I'll still try to clear those games and reach for those goals as well because I get enjoyment out of the attempt. Its also funny how you can just drop into a groove with shmups randomly and have an amazing run out of nowhere and progress further than you do after grinding out runs trying to get there. I do feel like I almost need to be in the right headspace to really progress and the times when I'm in those states and everything is clicking just right is what keeps me engaged with shmups. great video I'm working on gunvein at the moment its really a great game.
Hey thanks for checking out the video! I appreciate your time and comment. Trust me my level is not high at all! It was actually me assuming I was great that caused me to have so much internal strife when I finally got kicked down. And I totally hear you about the "groove" that just elevates your play to something that feels like it was beyond what you were capable of. The headspace being perfect and the gaming conditions being perfect lead to you actually playing at your skill cap. And I totally agree that's what keeps pulling me back. It's addicting to have those moments of "I'm actually playing like a madman right now". What's really great though is when you make mistakes while playing at that level, you know they're new mistakes and they provide you with a clear direction of where you can improve. Good luck with Gunvein and check out the Jermination Cycle II if you want to hear about my training regimen for snagging the Intense 1CC! Have a great week!
A philosopher's take on his shmup journey... wow!! I cannot put myself in your shoes, we have a completely different approach to these games, but man, you presented an awesome insight in these two videos!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I think the great part about these incredibly self-testing games is how we can approach them so differently and achieve similar results! I definitely wanted to open my brain for people to look inside and see if they could take away some info that would help them on their own path. Good luck on your next clear!
Dang man, what a great vid! Thank you for sharing your experience with Gunvein Mild and Intense. I think you were able to really voice something meaningful between these two vids. I look forward to your next video. And kinda touching on a topic from the last vid, there's no pressure to create something "great", just create something _you_ like when the time comes, and I'm positive it will be great. Cheers friend! 🍻
Once again I really appreciate your time and kindness, it's super motivational to keep me wanting to share my journey. As long as people find something worth their attention/time in my videos then I'll be happy to continue making them. Now I get to start another shmup fresh with a renewed mind state. Good luck on your Arcade-difficulty clears, I know they're coming soon!
@@jermanator181 thank you brother!
Great video. This commentary got me thinking about my Intense 1CC and my pitfalls when training for it. I got arrogant and underestimated this game when I first started playing because I thought I was hot stuff after doing my Raiden 1-ALL and had too much pride to play the Mild difficulty. Looking back on it, I also tried doing too much scoring at first and neglected the Hypers. There are some other things like jumping to other shmups that played quite differently and then coming back to this one and trying to shake off the rust. I think you had a much more efficient approach to this one than I did. That being said, I am pretty proud of my score in that game.
Thank you for the time you took to watch/listen/comment! I totally get the pride thing, I talked about it in part one, but my ego 100% got in my own way after I had snagged the Blue Revolver clear and it took a savage humbling by Battle Garegga to remind me how deep the shmup pool goes. I used your clear for stage 3 boss Strats by the way thank you! Your run was really something, that score is worth feeling yourself over haha. Looking forward to your next video too!
Shmups are an eternal journey, the feelings of self doubt and the struggles will never fully go away as your skill increases and you challenge harder games, but you always have to remember that it's not a race and that you are playing the games because you want to. I just checked my uploads and I got exactly 32 Normal Touhou 1ccs before I was confident enough to try my first arcade shmups, R-Type Leo and Kingdom Grand Prix. I think it took me 2 years of playing before I was ready for Garegga. Play them cause you enjoy them and the skill will follow. As you gain more experience you'll get a better handle of your own capabilities and judge whether or not you might be ready to take on a big game. This is not to say that you can't clear a monster game over a long enough period of time, but you're definitely going to be prone to burnout as you experienced first hand. Junkies need that quick fix 😂
Hey Chinop thanks for your time and comment. It's actually super vindicating to hear that the player whose Garegga replays I was frequently studying experienced self doubt as well. If I have to wait a year and a half to tackle Garegga then that's the way it'll have to be! Being humbled by a machine was a wild experience after sequential "successes" and I think that only made the burnout deeper. I think it's time for me to widen my shmup net and get a feel for some different systems and styles. Turns out I just need more "you win" screens in my life haha. Here's to the next one!
Yo Jerm! I love this vid. That's a very relatable story. It's cool just how much shmups can have some of us turning our mind inward to analyze our skills, ego, and attachments. It's all very enlightened in a strong way. Also, thank you so much for the shout out. Playing some Gunvein together was a lot of fun and I'd love to do that again soon. :) We got you through your shmup slump with the power of friendship! Looking forward to episode 2! Also, did you draw the cabinet and ship in your end card? I love it!
Dude thanks for chilling and shmupping, it was an absolute joy and essential to both subsequent clears. Shmups really do keep you honest, I think it's the nature of a machine to point flaws in it's user. And of course above all, friendship is the best ship type (and resource) in any shmup haha. I appreciate the view and your time man. The end card was a commission drawn by Aaron Kraten, I've edited the video description to point to his website!
Always put the fun element on top!! If it helps, I've tried multiple times, but never been able to play battle garegga...
Thanks for the time to view and comment! It's funny that I actually forgot the main purpose of shmups, when I myself have made that same point in previous commentaries. I was caught up in a "valuable contribution" when I realized it just made the experience soulless. Back to blasting!
well done!!
Thanks! It was hard fought and totally worth it. I appreciate the time :)
Well done mate!!
Thank you for checking it out! My intense clear will be coming soon
Frickin' awesome run. You really got that by the skin of your teeth there! This game looks really tough. I just love everything about this game too, between the 3D graphics, the sweet soundtrack, and unique weapon and speed system. I'm definitely going to pick this one up next time it goes on sale, and not just cause you've been bugging me to all the time. :P
Hey man I appreciate the time to view! I end up coming back to check out how the final boss played out now and then because it still feels a little bit surreal. Now that I’m trying for Advanced Normal it actual has some useful tactics I forgot! And I only bug because I know you’re gunna love it! Haha here’s hoping the next switch sale comes soon.
@@jermanator181 I know~ I'm sure I'll love it too. Don't you worry, I'll get to it. 😊
This is a fantastic commentary Jermanator. I love your style and all the details you covered. I have lots to learn from you, and this is super inspiring for my own Mushi Original clear. That stage 4 miss to the beetle on the side... that's exactly what I was saying in the chatroom we were into today! Those little beatles are just ferocious in this stage! Your stage 5 clear was nuts. I didn't know about the MB safe spot, then you 100% entered the Matrix Neo mode for a sec! The whole thing was clinical. Do you have any advice or vids with great clears of the stage 5 boss last attack pattern? I can't get that one without a bomb. Also, are you a keyboard player?
Dude, first and foremost thank you for the time and incredibly kind words! I feel the same way about every other commentary I watch and it’s really rewarding to read a comment like this. I was definitely vibing with where you are on your shmup journey with your commentaries so know that compliment goes both ways. The beetle sniper was plotting that back in 64’ I didn’t have a chance. My stage 5 floats around as this ethereal event in my head. Watching it back is insane that it was my hands on some of those dodges and they really weren’t “luck” as much as my brain being in the right spot. I can tell you how to learn how beat stage 5 final pattern. Watch this video (or any other clear of the same mode), and allow the pattern to flood the screen as much as possible, then pause it and really look at the empty space. There are crossing streams and an aimed volley. You’re going to have to wrap your brain around shooting the gaps between crossing streams to pick a safe “pocket”. You don’t need to micro dodge the aimed volley if you are in a different pocket. Practice navigating safe pocket to safe pocket by having tight jump rope esque timing (I mention this being one of my favorite bullet themes in mushi in the commentary). If you understand what mistake the pattern is trying to force on you (mental stack of left/right jumprope vs aimed micrododge) then you’ll understand how to not let part of that threaten you at all. Once it’s just jumprope, it’s literally as difficult as stage 4 midboss. I play on Hitbox when I’m at home and sega genesis-style pad when I’m trying to be stealth shmuppin at work!
@@jermanator181 Sweet, thanks for taking time to leave such an awesome response! I'll try that game of double dutch with the stage 5 boss soon enough. Mushi really does have you jumping rope. Or it's kinda like diving through a hot electric fence. Anyway, too cool...
hey! Congrats on the 1cc and great commentary (really appreciate your "rumbling" 😁)!!!
Thank you so much! It means a ton and I’m glad there was something enjoyable here for you. Hope you learned something worthwhile from the rumbles haha
great tips on an under-used special weapon!
Thanks Des! Now we just need some high-tier players to take this data and blow my run out of the water!
Stellar commentary, man! It's always very fulfilling when you know you've put serious work into breaking things down to such a degree. An exceptional clear, congratulations!
Thank you very much! I would love to see some players build off of my foundation and create a truly spectacular run with Stasis Field. It really deserves all the love I give it!
Really cool looking game that I've seen a few others play. I'd love to have this eventually make its way to Switch but who knows when we'll see that. Great resource, man!
It really is a wild game! Especially once you get a taste of the scoring and realize you’ll need to do a little to get enough extends to clear. It’s all addicting from there. Thanks for the kind words I appreciate the time!
@@jermanator181 Yeah, no worries at all. I'll check out your commentated vid you just put up sometime tomorrow. Have a good one!
Fantastic run and your commentary is flawless! Absolute quality material here. Congratulations on the clear. I haven't buckled down with 1.0 myself yet. When I got into the game, 1.5’s music caught my attention more so but I can see myself getting to this version soon. Thanks for sharing and keep up the awesome commentaries!
Congrats, seeing the stasis field in action is awesome!
Thank you for watching! I can definitely say that Stasis field is worth trying out as it exudes a power/style that other specials just don't have by nature of being a bit more straight forward. It also just feels so dang good to rope a whole pulse of bullets and rubber-band snap them back in an enemy's face!
Hey man, great run and super insightful commentary! Good composure after the boss 4 mid-boss too, I definitely would have gotten tilted there!
Sorry for the delayed response I didn't get any notifications for comments on this video! I appreciate the time you took to watch! Yeah that late game play simultaneously tightened the noose and got me loose at the same time haha
@@jermanator181 No worries, well done my friend! Your commentary is great too
Cool to see the Stasis Field being used, it definitely looks like it requires a good bit of routing but seems very strong when used properly. Also great job on the final boss, that was intense.
Thank you so much for the time to view! You are correct I definitely had to bust out the notepad and some coffee to create a workable route. However it's not all bad and there are some areas that Stasis field can straight up "solve" that other specials can not. It does feel like you get to really use the game against itself which is always fun, like shmup necromancy. I don't even remember the final boss, all of a sudden I looked at the screen and it was over if that's any insight as to my mind state at the time
amazing run bro, keep it up!!! i love it
glad you didnt give up at the end bro!
