May Allah always protect and keep secure my mother’s people, the proud Pushtuns. She is a Yusufzai woman. The Pushtuns, always proud yet humble before Allah. Always hospitable to the needy, opening their hearts and homes to the poor and those who seek refuge. And yet, fiercely independent and fearsome warriors when the need arises. All the empire-makers discovered this fact the hard way. Alexander the Great had to pass through; he could not stay. The Mongols and the Persians also passed through and could not stay. The British empire was repulsed by them for 150 years. The Soviets were thwarted and pushed out. And most recently, the hubris-filled cowardly Americans ran out of Afghanistan after 20 years of utter humiliation. It is not in the genetics of the Pushtuns to be enslaved or subjugated.

I personally disagree with 0:22. Bacha khan was not a follower of an independent Pakhtoonistan or even not considered it. Bacha Khan Baba was the follower of unity to cease the bloodshed caused by Partition. Baba was even against the partition of Pakistan.
