What's wrong with the UPA? They exist to regulate the PPA and MLP, NOT amateur/rec players. Professional players should have a different standard than rec players.

this will go to congress if it remains status quo. My thoughts is that UPA will adjust their status prior to that. But for me, another issue is that UPA's costs for memberships and paddle certifications process are out of control, costing almost 5 times more than USAP. This in my opinion will discourage small Paddle companies and certainly favor the larger ones. Something that seems so disingenuous cant last too long out in the open.

4:51 From what I’ve read, UPA is seeking nonprofit status but it’s not an instantaneous process. According to the IRS it can take 3 months to a year for approval and that’s if there are no hiccups. Have you heard anything about the veracity of this?

ProStar has amazing customer service! Please note that Logan, the owner of Prostar responds directly to emails and requests on orders and immediately responded and honored my request for a Prostar on the lighter end of the spectrum. The one he sent was light in terms of its static weight and not head heavy at all! Very maneuverable for an elongated with the titanium/polyester weave. I have played with a lot of paddles and I would be guessing, but swing weight of mine falls clearly under 120 bc it’s near my ideal for elongated probably no more than 117-118. Also worth noting, don’t know if it’s the special weave or the foam injected core or the combo of the two, but once you work it in, it’s rare to get so much linear predictable power like gen3ish combined with the touch and control bc that combo of special service and core once worked in has awesome dwell time. And the twist weight/sweet spot excellent for an elongated. It’s a special paddle!

Is the black diamond still usable for the tennis player who can generate their own power? Or will it be hard to control?

What’s the difference in feel between the 14 and 16 mm versions? Does the 16 mm feel more muted, or more sluggish during hand battles? Wondering which model to try if I can generate my own power and favor feel/touch above power… Thanks!

Bought the CF3 - Power 14 based on your 1 minute review a month or so ago. Haven't been disappointed. It is some weapon at the Kitchen. My control is not as good as yours, I feel 16mm - Power is more plush control, obviously... but the game is so fast now that pop and top spin rules, so this one really checks out. Funny that people are not used to how amazing Standout paddles are and are thinking this is a commercial

CF3 14mm is my go-to for 2024 and I have every high-end paddle on the market, but always seem to go back to the CF3. The only paddle that I found that compares as far as "FEEL" is the new CRBN True Foam Cx1 (which is not released to the public yet). I did have one CF3 snap at the handle on me during a game, which was surprising. Fortunately, I had a back-up. LOL. The only improvement to the CF3 would be the butt cap or maybe the handle length. Maybe a less aggressive butt cap or slightly longer handle would make it even better. I add about 3-4g from the throat on either side. Great paddle.

This company doesn’t get enough attention. I did wish they didn’t put their “SO” logo right on the sweet spot. The logo feels slightly slicker than the normal surface, and I would be worried about it negatively impacting spin.

Titanium is definitely not the future for pickleball tech. I would say that kevlar is, kevlar will be the new standard for pickleball paddles. The shogun is a good paddle but from my experience there are definitely alot of other paddles that are much much better. Also, I've created a video with the shogun that I received and how some shogun paddles have different grit from one side of the paddle to another.

Could the lead tape on the bottom corners help w/ the resets in the transition zone?

Do you see any difference between the original DBD 16 mm releases and the newer ones I bought a new one and it seems to play a lot different then my original one

BK, I like your videos on six zero paddles, I play with with DBD 16mm, missing the power of the Joola Gen 3 paddle i was playing with before the ban, according to the attached chart from six zero the Black Infinity Diamond is a better paddle with power, pop, spin and not bad on control which from six zero chart just one below the BDI, the reason for the email, is I am looking for more spin and Power and like control over all and like the six zero line up, do you recommend getting the BDI or keep using the DBD 16mm?
