Mud house is where we are being brought up. This is not new in India. You can still see mud house North East India.

I lived in a city in my childhood, but many of my relatives use to live in village in mud houses. That’s 45 years ago. I still remember freshly cow dung pasted floor of the mud houses. To be frank it’s not stinky. And even cow dung was used for walls as there is no paint is used. And roof is made of tadichettu leaves (palmyra tree just googled) and supported by palmyra trunk. Those are my sweet memories. I commend the efforts are these women! Only concern I have is quarry dust, they have to replace that with something else. As quarry dust is not scalable, unless you want to pulverize lots of mountains, which they are already doing to lay down roads and railways. Added house construction to it will be a disaster as the demand will increase multi fold!

In Hinduism we do not treat a person or anything is born with sin. That’s the Christianity concept! The bhumi puja is done to say sorry to nature and the living things that had the soil as home, and asking the bhumi (land) to forgive for occupying it! And for equipment we pray to say we be successful and prosper using it and no untoward incidents happen with the equipment!

And its price comparison with the concrete houses. And im sure the costs of labour would be more right? Or is there a difference too?
