I never thought a song I've never heard before would feel so dreamy. This feels so nostalgic, yet I want to cry. It describes what I feel when I'm sad so much when I don't have the tears to do so. Solemn, and empty. Just wanting to cry, yet the tears never flow. It gives me goosebumps. <3

just like the viewers after watching this show 😀 lol I'm kidding but seriously this show is so good but also pretty depressing (the movie isn't as sad, thankfully)

I just wish Utena had the mainstream recognition Evangelion does IMO it does the deconstruction of it's genre thing just.. better than EVA did.
@@thewalrus45 Mainly because EVA is not a deconstruction of the genre and never was. Not saying it's bad or anything, but it does nothing that breaks the traits of the genre
@@Zexser a deconstruction isnt meant to break the traits of a genre, just play them straight to show flaws in the tropes that are uncritically reused over and over. i dunno if eva is really a deconstruction in that sense either, cuz Im not too into gundham, but its an important distinction.

@@thewalrus45 I agree that Utena deserves far more recognition than it has, but Eva is great as well! Also Utena is specifically a deconstruction/critique on fairy tale stories and tropes, while Eva is more about reflecting on what hurts us as people, and the impact we have on one another. Both are amazing!

this song makes me feel nothing but pain it's so beautiful but it is truly hard to listen to
SPOILERS This is the music that plays in one of the last episodes, when all the characters are palying badminton. This music resembles all the problems they had surpassed. When Miki and Juri speaks, the 'ghost' of their past that tortured them appears in the background, but they have accepted it, not a problem for them anymore. Also, Nanami has already learned the lesson that she is not a special being with special treatment, she is like everyone girl on the academy, so she decided to dress the uniform and she accepts her position. They all play badminton like it is a conversation, speaking about their traumas and problems. They may not had solve them, but they all have accepted them. And that is the first step for a revolution.
