Since 2011 i have had 3 dryers and 4 washers whirlpool samsung general electric all garbage latest tr3 SQ since Jan 24 so far one problem getting fabric softener out in wash but i still have confidence in my choice of SQ will never buy Samsung LG whirlpool or GE this washer didnt last 3 years and as expensive as a SQ
You should know that the new whirlpool washing machines are crap, if you have an old one, you might want to get it back because you won’t find another one like it, I had one and I wish I had kept it
My front load whirlpool Duet turned 19 in April 2024... so we're going on 19 and a half years now.... anyway...about the Speed Queen... they have two types of washers. One is the TR series (which doesn't work well)... I can't remember I think the other is the TC series....The TC series is the old fashioned goold old agitator washer that people grew up with in the past. A Few years ago they introduced a new model called the TR series which has a totally different agitation...and I've seen videos of it in operation... it seems to work OK with clothing that is thin.... it's the thicker stuff like jeans it has problems moving it to the bottom... I think speed queens are made well but I would AVOID any model that starts with TR... and get the TC instead... God I hope I got that right
Im so frustrated with my Speeq Queen too and found your video searching how to fix it. Have had to have serviced twice in 6 months since I got it. Will start wash then stop 30 seconds later with water and soap and the links just blink continuously. Also had a 20 year old washer that worked fine. They think its a sensor because our water has debris from well water. So I have to have it replaced every month? So frustrating! Thought this was going to be a great machine and mine only has a 3 year warranty.
My washer I got in 2018 (7 years ago) is also a lemon. Right now my friend is washing a load of laundry because today it started to fill and the clothes are wet and the soap is in them. And all the lights a flashlight and I don’t know what to do. We’ve done all the simple things and no luck
I got less than a year out of my TC5 washer before it blew up. Also speed queen edits the reviews on their site which is why i waste my time posting my negative experiences on TH-cam .Good luck finding any reliable appliances out there, fellow Americans
Alliance is the company that owns Speed Queen. I have a 2017 Speed Queen which was the last year they made a really good old fashioned style washer that will last for decades.
You used a lower quality washer machine for 17 years was it? But a higher quality comercial one breaks on you? I find that hard to believe unless you got flawed one or you didnt read manual and overworked it or damaged it somehow alot of people seem to overload they dont see warning in the manuals for things to do or not do i guessing same happened here you put like 4 king size comforters in it jammed motor and wondered why or how it broke.
Alliance owns Speed Queen from what I’ve researched. Just another person not knowing what they are talking about and making bad reviews. I’ve never owned a Speed Queen but know what you’re saying before you say it. She was worried about zip ties and splicing wires. Obviously no clue what she is talking about. 🤣😂
Amazes me how the average American Karen (or Ken) can get through life being so unaware of their immediate surroundings... having called for warranty service you'd think that while reading the serial number on the label under the lid of the washer, she'd have noticed the bold letters *"Manufactured by Alliance Laundry Systems"* but I guess not. 😂
Sooooooo….. Sooooooooo…..Aaannnndddd…. Lady you are clueless….it was funny to watch when you thought you smoked them out with the Alliance discovery….typical blonde.
Alliance laundry systems, LLC. is the company that owns and manufactures Speed Queen washers & dryers. Thats why the parts box you were sent says Alliance. It is not a after market company.
No underwear? I'm thinking your partner likes that washer! That said, I'm doing research to replace a frustrating Maytag front load and want something closer to old school going forward!
mmm.....Hope you got things resolved and you have a machine that meets your expectations. Looks like you have a TR7 Series washer in the video. The Speed Queen TC5 is the closest machne you can buy in North America to the old school 25 - 40 year Maytag Washers your grand parents and parents talk about. Speed Queen ain't cheap but about year 12 or 14 you will pat yourself on the back for paying a bit more for the Speed Queen. The Speed Queen "TR" series are a different product for a different customer. TR's are quieter, less power and water and are very gentle on your clothes. If you are city slicker TR's might for you. If you are Farmer, Carpenter, Auto Mechanic or just got a bunch of dirty kids than the more aggessive cleaning TC5 might be a better fit.
We bought a speedqueen less than a month and a half ago in Amite, La. It worked fantastic at first but now it stops during the wash (with water still inside) and two lights blink on the controls. The only way to reset it is to unplug it and it may do it again or complete the cycle.
Mine was doing something similar recently, stopping, blinking, beeping, etc. My husband found out some sediment in the water line causes that, and after he cleaned out the little screen, it fixed the sensor that was being triggered and it works perfectly again. Hopefully that's your issue too.
Mine is all digital. And you hit the start button. And nothing. Hit the start button. Nothing. Over and over. Until it decides it’s gonna start. But I agree with her. Mine don’t clean very well
@@wendymooers7221 I think I purchased mine the last year they made the manual knob controls. Just less to go wrong and no lid lock. Don’t know if I wold have purchased otherwise. Mine has been an absolute workhorse and cleans the clothes well. I’m sorry yours didn’t work out for you. If I had to buy something new today I honestly don’t know what I would buy.
I have the same one nothing but problems with it! I hate it, the worst washer and dryer I have ever had! Speed queen has been completely useless! Terrible customer service!
I wish I had seen this before I bought a washer, I have had mine for 2 months, now it wont start, hold time when you call is 45 min, I have messaged them, I have reached out to the distributor here in PR and they don't service on this side of the Island, I wish I had just gone to Costco and bought one, would have cost under 1k and if I had a problem I could have taken it back. So disappointed. Thank you for sharing.
There is ALWAYS a percentage of appliances that break. You could get the absolutely best, and there is still a chance. But just because it breaks on YOU, doesn't meant that the product in general is bad. It's a wide problem, if MANY people have problems. And the Speed Queens, and you can ask any technician / repair person, are NOT the ones that break more. They break the LEAST. Also, and this probably messed up service.... pandemic times. Thank goodness we're past that now.
Fair, but they should share their reviews. The disappointing thing is how long it takes to resolve. People should know this. I am surprised they did not offer a replacement. I have seen others claim they were given a replacement for this model.
Speed Queen will clean clothes better than any front loader hands down. No comparison when it comes to clean clothes! Clean clothes in your LG front loader LOL. You must like wearing clothes with soap that never gets rinsed out completely. (all front loaders leave soap in the clothing and have never cleaned like agitating top loaders) If you buy from reputable dealers you should have no problems getting warranty repairs. Facts Matter
Lol my wife is fighting me tooth and nail for a $1700. speed queen , my cheap roper washer just crapped out yeah i pair less they $400. for it 7 years ago so if i still could i could buy 4 ropers for one speed queen. as for warranties they are BS so me i'll buy good for less and when they crap out get a new one. sadly hard to throw a $1700. speed queen in the dumpster .
i'm just a bystander on this one. FYI "alliance" is just the holding company for SQ. I don't have one yet, so I'm not a fanboy (yet). But it's been a couple of years now. The reason i'm asking is that I'm guessing (hoping) that the actual SQ/alliance customer relations people kept working on it. It's sucks waiting, but what i'm hoping to hear is this was a (bearing/washer/gasket/switch problem, not a "go ask china" board problem.
I threw away my 2 year old LG big beautiful red washer when it failed the first year. Diagnosis? It needed a new tub bearing which meant you buy a new fukn tub, almost twice the price of the washer. LG is no longer something I look at, I don’t care what they make!
LG's front load machines are by far the most reliable washer that *won't* cost you upwards of 3 to 4 thousand dollars in excessive electricity from the lazy 700 rpm spin on those tin-can top loaders... but hey, buying a new HE top loader with a totally fake "agipeller" designed to rip off american consumers who are doing the trendy thing of trashing their excellent performing front loader because they let it get moldy.. because they're american and would absolutely NOT be told how to do anything... is just more "fake freedom American consumerism" that we've come to expect.. 😢
Geez this is a demonstration of a dumb blonde. Alliance manufactures Speed Queen. Sorry you had a poor experience but it might be related to your communication skills
A lot of the stuff sounds made up, although she’s hot!
Is this a Joke 😂
my speed queen is from 2017 last of the mechanical knobs
What you need is a wash board and some soapy water , that's about your speed , no pun intended 🙄
Your machine is a lemon
What you got is a lemon

When did you buy yours? Did you get a replacement?
She works for Samsung
Cheap Basik Washer with a Wash Plate Much better.
They are junk. You should have never bought one...
I appreciate the video

Something doesn't mess with her story and timeline. 🤔. I'm sure there are the occasional "lemons" but this story sounds sounds a bit fabricated.

Doesn't change the fact they are having several service issues.
Sooooooo….. Sooooooooo…..Aaannnndddd…. Lady you are clueless….it was funny to watch when you thought you smoked them out with the Alliance discovery….typical blonde.
I bought the simplest model back in 2013. It's been a gem. I hear they don't make them with the simple mechanical knobs anymore for home use.
brand new manual tc 5 here, ive had it 6 weeks, it has succesfully washed 3 very small loads. what a POS!!!!!!! ITS NOT COMERCIAL OR HEAVY DUTY
Just awful.
BTW ALLIANCE is SPEED QUEENS parent company. ALLIANCE are the factory parts
Soooooo......Aaaaaand. Stopped watching her halfway through. Just call for service where you bought it!
No agitator? What model is that?

Hi Heather! Please provide an update? I hope you were just given a new replacement?
This is the only negative review I have seen for a SpeedQueen
It must be a true lemon. If she had a GE front loader that lasted over 16 years, she definitely knows how to baby a washer.
Bla Bla Bla..

Bought my Speed Queen back in 2018. It’s the classic with manual knobs and no lid lock. Love, love, love it !!

Our speed queen is garbage and has been garbage from day 1.

Costco is amazing. 90 day return.

Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. You go girl. You're a Fighter. I feel the same way about LG Washers.

Because you bought the TR model. SMH.. TC for the win.
Got a brand new one and very unhappy. Be sure to ask every question possible before buying.
Which model did you get?
Geez this is a demonstration of a dumb blonde. Alliance manufactures Speed Queen. Sorry you had a poor experience but it might be related to your communication skills
I don't think this lady is very smart if she would actually look at a the machine she would realize Alliance mix Speed Queen
