The Canon mg3620 I have is useless beyond the mini-inks it came with. Never printed again after those. So I got like fifteen prints from it. The price of two attempts at new ink and the cost of the printer divide by fifteen = some expensive prints.

This is truly the worst piece of s*** printer I have ever ever seen I thought Cannon outdid itself I know all their products suck but this one is particularly poor do not buy cannon products they're going bankrupt

Everyone! There is an easier way! Make sure the printer is completely on then hold the STOP button down until the orange warning light flashes five times. Let the stop button go and the printer will cycle and clean itself. You can then watch the hoses fill up and the printer will reset!!

You sir deserve a medal! Thanks for the help! For anyone with Canon G650 printer the same process can be followed from the printer (no PC/laptop required). On the printer go to: setup menu > maintenance > ink flush.
