Yet another clutch replacement video that has nothing about removing the old clutch/flywheel. How did you separate the old flywheel from the flex plate?

I wanted to say thank you for the video. Also wanted to say the AWD version is not so easy. What a pain in the ass to get that last bolt between the transfer case and the bell housing.

I just try to tell myself it's 1 bolt at a time and try not to bust my knuckles. Doing it on the ground in my garage has been interesting 🤣. Your tips were very helpful.

Wierd question .. where did you jack up the bike ? centerstand or ? cause i have pipes on it like the Super magna .. and i cant get a damn centerstand on :D

I have seen people pry on these style setups and wonder why it won’t come apart for hours 🤣 then we come Over remove the lever and poof transmission is separated 🤣 so fantastic video and hopefully it saves people some grief!!!

I have a question for you, I send my Kia to the mechanic shop an before he change the clutch all the gears was working perfectly and after he change de clutch, the reverse stop working, do you have any idea what's wrong with it, I will appreciate your answer

How long did this clutch take replace.

So my buddy and I are trying to change out the hydraulic slave cylinder and throw out bearing on his 2012 Jeep Patriot because the throw out bearing is shot and the cheapest quote we got is 1300$. But this is the only video remotely related to our make and model. Tbh we need help. I’m wondering what is the best way to get to this part and or if we’re gonna have to drop the entire trans. Also does the gear shift and all its housing have to be removed to drop the trans?

Thanks for the vid...however Honda seems to recommend 15w fork oil rather than the ATF transmission fluid you stated.

Amazing tips in this video! Thank you! This was one of the least fun clutch changes that I've done. I was able to juuuust separate the trans far enough from the engine to access the pressure plate bolts and remove clutch and pressure plate. As shown, the clutch alignment tool will fit this way if you trim it down. Again, just barely enough space to fit, but it works. Thanks for a great video!

When you pulled the transmission apart from the block did you notice an engine ground coming off the main wire harness?

heres a better question once you have it all back together and start bleeding it why does it keep leaking and spraying inside where you just replace it

how did you get the rear transmission through bolt and mount removed. There is no room to get at it from the top or the bottom? You can only rotate the heard of the bolt and it is in a bad spot. The nut is a clip that does not rotate.

what is the piece called that shifts the transmission? it has like a fork on it, hooks to a cable, mine is bad but i dont know what its called and cant find one

What kind of symptoms will this issue show? I am having a clacking noise upon acceleration and deceleration sometimes even when shifting from park to drive or park to reverse. However it does not happen when revved in park or nuetral.

Why is it titled Jeep Patriot and it's a jeep liberty I've never changed a clutch before so I was kinda hoping that it was actually a Patriot given the fact that I have a 2017 Jeep patriot. Can some one tell me if it's still the same process or if it's different. Thanks everyone cheers 👍😊
