It was so bizarre and hypocritical of some to say he shouldn't be the DI because he'd been on the show before, but Ralf Little had ALSO been on the show before back when DI Poole was in charge! And yes his character, Wilson, is downright rude, but recall that Poole (who was probably on the spectrum) ALSO got a verbal chastisement because of his rudeness. Humprey was clumsy, Mooney was absent minded, Parker was an annoying sickly hypochondriac. But we grew to love them all in time. Anyway I'm in the USA and am overjoyed the show is FINALLY back!!

Damien Lewis is a brilliant Henry VIII, the best I've seen. Terrifyingly unpredictable, he is riveting to watch.

His chronic stutter was starting to show and I'm not sure the presenters didn't panic a bit..

Wasn't expecting to like him in this role, but surprisingly I loved it. Looking forward to him melting into this role.

I thought he was good but I thought he was a little bit rude especially to the women but like Don said they starting off with a guy that people are not gonna like when they first meet him so at some point they are gonna try to develop him as his run in the show go on. We just have to let that happen and give him a chance to do it.

The plot made no sense. There is nothing at all to like about the new detective. Nothing humorous, nothing special, nothing quirky or memorable. So I won't be worried about watching anymore episodes. The show has run its course.
