Icue is unfixable Goodbye Corsair. Cant uset the hardware properly because of it. Goodbye Corsair. Unfixable. Been working on it off and on for month. Corsair does not value your time. They can GFT
I have to admit that I want to go pull my G95s and see if I can recreate the issue. That is pretty terrible footage you are getting and I would have returned my G95s if that's what I got from them. But that's not been the case for me.. I run dual G95s for my work.. at least my outdoor work. Nearly all my work is static, with some moving around in the frame. I've never had an issue like you are showing. As for your jittering.. what was your shutter speed? If you run 2x framerate (i.e. 30fps run 1/60th shutter), you should get proper motion blur and not have those gitters. It really looks like the shutter speed it too high or there's something really off with the IBIS. The only time I get "shaking" is when the wind impacts my tripod. Also, I have to run ND filters to get the shutter speed to lock at 60 and have proper exposure, as I'm shooting outdoors in West Texas with no shade. Also, what are you using to edit/view your content? Also, the solution to the "Panasonic autofocus" is pretty easy on static shots. Just use manual focus with point focus and pre-focus at the most appropriate focal range and you are good to go. If you need more depth, then just your aperture. I've done that for years, not only with Panasonic but with ANY camera where I'm shooting a static scene. You'll get tack-sharp video without hunting. As for the GH5 MK2.. don't even hesitate. I had a project come up that needed to be shot in tight quarters, and the 4K crop on my G95s made them unusable for the job. I bit the bullet and bought 3 pre-owned GH5 MK2 bodies. I matched them with two OM 8-25 F4 Pro lenses and one 12-100 F4 Pro lens (massive Black Friday sales), and the difference was dramatic. I'll still use the G95s for my outdoor work as the 4k crop actually works to my advantage, but for everything else, the GH5 MK2s are my go-to choice for now. Anyway.. Thank you for the video.. Cheers Rick
Yes its Crap. Then if you want to uninstall and do a fresh intall you CANNOT unless you want to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to get it to work. I agree and will not be buying anymore Corsair hardware that is associated with ICue period. Goodbye Corsair. I no longer have the patience. Seems they refuse to fix it.
Agreed. I have no regrets getting this camera
I’m having the same issue with my PC, have you sorted it? But I’m building a new one soon will that cause it to to work properly or maybe upgrading into Windows 11
@kylobudgie9841 Nope. Building a new machine won’t help you nor would upgrading to Windows 11. This is a brand new build and it’s running Windows 11 from day 1. It’s just terrible software unfortunately. Thanks for the view and comment! If you haven’t already, please consider subscribing to the channel. It helps out more than you know. God Bless and good luck on your new build!
@ thx bc mine keeps crashing then changers fan colour and dose not mach my keyboard and mouse 🤦🏻♂️ I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and downgraded the icue software, but did not work hopefully corsair will sort it with a new update, and my brothers icue software is working fine i think he has same specs as my pc,but will be upgrading,as the parts are getting old can run some games but not well gpu is gta 1050ti let me know if you have sorted it,if so make an video on how to fix will much appreciated. Thank you

@coffeebikesdrones Thanks so much for the kind words! I absolutely love my a6700! How about you?
I'm so happy that I found your channel.
Great video, I own this Camera and use a Tamron Zoom lens . Quick question how do you manage to keep your videos so steady. My videos are quite shaky . Especially the one which you took of your son practicing as a goal keeper. Thanks in advance
@PranayKambli Honestly it’s a combination of two things. Firstly, always try to get as close to your subject as possible instead of relying heavily on zooming. This will help out. But the main reason it’s so smooth is I’m using the DJI RS3 Mini gimbal. If I’m not using the gimbal, I’ll turn on the Active Steadyshot. This works ok but by far the most important piece for steady video, in my case anyway, is the gimbal. Thanks for the view and comment!
hi, do you use zoom lenses? i want to buy and i'm looking for zoom lens
@Dimartinni I do! I've got the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 Sports lens which is incredible. I've also got the Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 which is also a great lens and very versatile. Can't go wrong with any Simga lenses in my opinion. Thanks for the view and the comment. If you haven't already, please consider subscribing to the channel. It helps more than people realize! God Bless!
@@averageenthusiast4160 those 2 you mentioned are for Full Frame cameras.
@narigueta007 Correct. They work beautifully on the 6700.
@@narigueta007the advantage of buying those lenses as well is if you decide to upgrade to a full frame camera you will get the full capability of your lenses so it’s more of a investment for the future

Contrast detecting focusing system is something you have to learn how to use on G9 and G95. It will never work properly when in 4K on G9 and G95. It works perfectly in any other video settings. If you not happy, get yourself a Canon with its dual focus. G95 & G9 are fantastic cameras when operated correctly. You can learn from Todd Bannor’s tutorial how to use it with an outstanding effect.

my first card was a V90 and now I regret spending extra on a super fast card when I dont do sports or wildlife. I do portraits so the speed isnt really an issue.
@xOzymandias For sure! For what you're shooting it's definitely overkill. I initially bought that card because the a6700 requires a UHS II card to record 4k @ 120p. At that time, I wasn't even shooting sports so when I started, I was glad I had it. Makes a difference for sure! Thanks for the view and comment! Hey how do you apply the RGB effects to the GPU usin the icue?
@lexelgaming Those lights aren't being controlled by iCue... they're being controlled by Armory Crate by ASUS. There is a plugin that you can install into iCue to allow it to control those lights, but that software crashes on me all the time so I'm not putting anything else on it! It works also with feiyu scorp c
That’s the first time I’ve seen someone complained about that particular behavior. It looks like either it’s crashing due to some sort of system instability or another program is fighting with it.
Are those all the new fans that launched with the new icue link system? I saw some people saying that the fans tend to fail rather quickly however im unsure if thats fixed now
@bob-ps2dn They are the new fans. As for the performance of the fans themselves, they're great. No issues at all and they're whisper quiet. I record audio with a studio quality mic literally right next to the PC and you can't hear them. It's just the iCue software controlling the RGB that stinks so bad! Thanks for the view and comment! Signal rgb boi
Usually it happens when other soft interdires with it like armory crate or razer
Me who is trying to buy a none rbg stuff to not pay 400 extra cash. I see this as an absolutly win!
I’ve been using signalrgb, being able to change all rgb from 1 app is so nice
@amusiive Has it been updated to the point where it can control individual devices’ individual lights? For instance, these fans have outer ring lights and inner ring lights… when I used Signal it couldn’t control them independently. Is this still the case?
Rip, never used it but I feel the pain
@Blember Yea man. The quality of the hardware is great… but that software is absolute garbage.

Your photo is way too blue. Turn down the blue tint, it’s way to vibrant, also turn the exposure down a step and turn up the shadows, you can’t make out the trees back there.

Hello! Please tell me, can the RS 3 mini handle the A6700? I heard that on the 35-50 mm crop in the video it starts shaking when moving?
@мушкет Nope. The 35-50mm would be smaller and lighter than the 28-70mm. I can extend that to full zoom and the RS3 Mini handles it just fine! Thanks for the view and comment! God Bless.

What exactly are those fans doing if none of them are intake. Also nice gimble or whatever it is
@illestvillain1971 The four fans on the right (3 on back, 1 on bottom) are intake and the four fans on back (3 on top, 1 on rear) are exhaust. I’ve actually got a build video of me building that PC if you’d like a better look at the fan configuration. “Also nice gimbal or whatever it is”… that made me laugh. 🤣 Thanks for the view and comment. @@averageenthusiast4160 I'm just stupid yeah, I was just looking at the sticker not the casing of the fan that makes sense
@illestvillain1971 All good! I've done the same thing looking at other builds in the past too. Have you seen the reverse blade fans that have been out a year and half or two. They spin opposite direction so all of your case fans can show "the good side" instead of the back. Super clean... but pretty expensive still.
@@averageenthusiast4160 oh I haven't, sounds cool. But I have too many excess fans lying around already can't convince myself to replace em just yet lol

My G95 is my main cam. Smh.
@@cadavisiii What do you think of it? I enjoy the camera… I really do. Just can’t deal with how poor the 4K video behaves. I really liked the images I was able to capture with it.
@@averageenthusiast4160 there's a lot I agree with you, they just aren't issues for me. Tripod video, street stills, timelapse, long exposure, good battery life. It was the right purchase for me in late 2022 when I made the jump from being a cellphone video shooter/editor to attempting niches like portraits and real estate photo. The mid range camera is truly a mid range camera. Feels like the company made reasonable limitations. What the camera does great is give a new user a full range of traditional camera controls and some nice to haves like 4k possibilities, decent stabe, and good battery. Today in 2024 it's in a different price bracket on the used market and it wouldn't be the same buying decision, but two years ago it was ok. I had $550 for a camera body and the gh4 was $900. Today the gh4 is closer to $550 and the G95 is in the low $400's. I'd say pump up your budget. I have a g100 and I think of it as the g95's little brother but with even more crippled legs and a weaker heart (smaller batteries). They're both easily portable mid rangers. 4k no crop, perfect stabe, reptilian autofocus is not a midrange expectation in my mind. Unfortunately the price point for that type of machine is still well above the $550 mark. Temper your expectations.
@cadavisiii Couldn’t agree with you more, to be honest. Its cost to performance is more than acceptable. Everything you say is spot on! My biggest concern is that it’s advertised as being able to do one thing (while I guess “technically” it can do) that it doesn’t. And when speaking to Panasonic about it the response is “we’re aware… this is expected behavior”… that’s unacceptable to me… personally. If you don’t use the camera for the one thing it can’t do then you’re fine… but (at the time of purchasing) there were other, cheaper options that could take great photos and record at 1080p. Either way, thanks for the view and the comment! Again, I agree with everything you said and the point of the video is to let people looking to buy it know the experience I had with it. God Bless!
@@averageenthusiast4160 hey I wanted to come back around to this thread because I remember what feature it was that I said "the G95 is the most cost effective way I can achieve this" and that feature was unlimited 4k recording. I had some idea that I would be doing longform video and the G95 was the most affordable unit that had unlimited recording. So I recognize a lot of your commentary as correct but I was shaking my head trying to stick up for my precious and not really remembering what it was that galvanized me in support of it. Unlimited recording in 4k is a huge plus and it's what makes the G95 ultimately versatile.
