palmetto bugs discovery via your channel was the DEALBREAKER OF THE YEAR

Please please tell me honestly: The palmetto bugs - are they prevalent in the actual CITY of Charlotte I.E Uptown? I live in dallas where I hear there are a lot of cockroaches (especially gliding ones) but I am fortunate to not have had one since I'm on the 7th floor of a condo- Will having a 5th floor or above Condo be a good way to avoid having palmetto (and other pests) bugs appear? I hear Minnesota has a similar problem with 'Boxelder bugs' but I'm not sure how severe the problem is!

Lived in SoCal for 43 years. I was tired of the homelessness, graffiti, traffic, high costs, traffic, drought, wildfires, traffic and mean people. Moved to N.C. three years ago and love it!

Why don't articles talk about the Charlotte airport is one of the worst, these articles don't talk how crime has rised and I have two friends that work at the TSA airport and say that we are number one for sex trafficing, why do these articles don't talk about about that? Besides, during the last two years the rude drivers have skyrocketed, people take the reds, something that didn't used to happen when we moved 25 years ago. To be honest, South Carolina taxes are better, quality of life is better in Greenvilles SC, and other places. Charlotte is wayyy over rated. The schools are over run with new students and the poor teachers are stuck. Talk about that, do your search about crimes stats, homelessness and horrible drivers, soon we are going to have cameras in every corner due to the rude drivers ruining our queen city. Move to other places like Greenville SC, do your research, did you know that your car must past the silly inspections even if they are new? and then you pay property taxes for your car? Share that in articles and stop telling everyone it is great to live in Charlotte!

great place for moving and living

Excellent video. I've lived in Belmont, great town. But you can actually be at the Charlotte airport in about 10-20 minutes or so depending where in Belmont you live. It's the most convenient suburb to the combination of Charlotte/airport/Whitewater Center/Airport/Carowinds/Catawba River/Downtown/I-85/I-485.

Do the home builders there have Mello roos?

There is nothing to do in Charlotte, compared to California. I lived in the south for 4 long years. hated it. I have some family there in Charlotte. I was so bored while visiting there. Those bugs are no joke. There was a reason Jordan sold his basketball team and ran to Florida. Don't do it. Rent before you buy to see if you like it. Good luck

I've traveled a good bit over the decades, including to CA. Though CA definitely has its beauty, I do feel it can be overrated. Drought, wildfires, brown/barren/dusty landscape, chilly ocean water, earthquakes, triple digit heat, and smog are not things I find attractive. I'll personally take NC's climate over CA's any day. Still, very good video.
