I'm not a track runner. I maybe ran it once in middle school. So this was rough.
Coming off the 4x4x48, I didn't have a lot of leg speed. The mechanics of fast running are totally different from what I normally do but I'm a sucker for a challenge.

I run nearly every run by myself. After spending time with Scott, I was inspired to try a group run. They are accepting of every people and pace which is great because I’m old and had already ran twice that day.

A couple things: 1. I didn't have the right headlamp. I found the oldest one I had and threw some batteries in it. With about 3 miles left, I found myself trying to remember how long those batteries last. 2. I ate it. I had a few stumbles and a full on crash. It had been a while since I've ran trails at night. Gorge Waterfall 50k 😍

Sun, rain, sleet, snow and mud. Turns out Kansas weather was the perfect training for this Northwest spring classic. With 5,800' of gain, the 50k course was an incredible mix of terrain, precipitation and waterfalls. This was my first go at a Daybreak Racing/Freetrail event and it was very well put together. I'm not sure why I'm not getting notifications when your videos drop. Nice jorts, but I recommend getting a true pair of jorts. I've run multiple races in them and the belt and pockets make a real difference 🤣. There's no way 5 miles can burn off a dozen donuts worth of calories. Great job at this challenge. BTW, I hate running on that section of SM Park.
That’s impressive. I can’t imagine eating 12 donuts at one sitting without running! Instead of water, try chocolate milk next time.

I'm not sure what the limit is on tall runners but I'm happy to take you on a tour. There's a couple ways to string lines together and once you do it a couple times its easier.

Running is the worst. Fun shots and editing. Those are amazing rock formations. Did you have to DNF? What happened?
My first DNF. I couldn’t cool down and was dry heaving. I should’ve adjusted my race to the weather but by mile 27.5 it was too late.
Sorry to hear that. I had to DNF from a race and it bumped me out.

Oh, Ogg. How I have not missed you. Nice fall and recovery. I hope you didn't get too injured. I have only filmed myself falling once-during the Skyline Shuffle last year-I did a complete barrel roll and was back up running in two seconds. I know the time because I was filming.

Here's my secret: I upload the song only before editing to see what happens. With the last few songs, Running Up That Hill, Cocaine, Warrior's Cod, it says they are copyrighted but the artist allows free use on TH-cam. It's an extra step but allows me to make the content I want.

i was just there at the end of may the day after the big snow storm. i hiked it after walking 2 miles from the magnuson hotel. made the climb harder but fun and it was warm with no clouds in the sky. i did the climb up and down the stairs. took me 1.5 hours to the top with rest and pictures.oh i ate at the manitou brewery after, the best incline burger with the parm fries.
Nice! We basically did the same route. I was trying to get a beignet for breakfast afterward but they were closed.
