Gorge Waterfall 50k 😍

Sun, rain, sleet, snow and mud.
Turns out Kansas weather was the perfect training for this Northwest spring classic. With 5,800' of gain, the 50k course was an incredible mix of terrain, precipitation and waterfalls.
This was my first go at a Daybreak Racing/Freetrail event and it was very well put together. There was also 30k and 100k races over the weekend. I would recommend checking it out. The 50k is a lottery while the other events are open registration.

Thanks so much! It was my first race up there. I was signed up for Tillamook Burn a couple years ago but the race didn’t go. Glad I got one of these spots 1st go.
