Making oboe reeds
Oboe reed making - PART 4 - Making reed with profiler
Hello again :-)
Welcome to video no. 4 on reed making using an oboe profiler.
I use the Rns oboe profiler for 2 - 3 years and I can say that it is really a big help for oboists.
I use three templates MT, MAU and LORY .
Each template must be played with a different embouchure :-)
The reed is ready to play in about 3 to 5 minutes.
Of course, you have to play on it for a few days and then the reed is ready to go on stage :-)

The cane is Moliniere (2009) 10,3 - 10,5 mm, 56-58/100mm, Hardness 10-14

Welcome to the third part of reedmaking - hand scraping reed :-) Here You can find my way of scraping.
