I just picked up a 2024 900 RP and just saw this informative video. One question, I see how you mounted the tank bag. Does the top strap interfere with the steering where you have it placed? I tried it there and the handlebars press against the strap. I’m having trouble finding a suitable place to put the top strap because everything is so tight.

Agreed all around, great video! I have a Rally Aragon and really the only thing I don't like about it is the stupid speedometer being nearly 10% off. I've done testing with multiple devices and there is no question it is 10% optimistic. The Odometer is dead accurate, so the bike knows exactly what speed it is going but chooses to display it wrong on purpose.

Rally Pro owner here. You don't need to get to 4th for a 0-60 mph. The bike seems to be in road mode too…

It has become a hard market to choose from this middle weight adv….. which is awsome. I’m also looking into the Husqvarna Norden 901… only see good things about it and a bit cheaper too.

Off road I would always use the clutch. Anyway nice review. I do like the new 900 from Triumph GT pro 2023.

BTW, the new stock bottom and top bash bars are great. The latest Aragon version comes standard with them, and the top one now mounts to the frame as yours do. Go check out some pics of the new Aragon version. Getting one for my wife this week. The salesman also threw in a set of Barkbusters as part of the sale.

What is the brand of your radiator guards? I’m having a tough time finding black.

I ride a similar setup on mine, minus the Outback Motortek crash bars and skid plate, Touratech pegs, stand extender and bar riser, and Evotech Performance GPS mount. Thanks for sharing!

So I got my bike finally in late Dec. 900 Rally Pro. I added lower and upper Outback Motortek guards and back plate, double take mirrors, Hepco and Becker handguards, Handlebar Risers 30mm up and 20mm back, and tons of Mosko Moto soft bags and gear...(way too much $!!). And Mission Trailmax 50/50 tires, I use my GoPro and Insta360X3 a lot also. In short, I LOVE this bike. All the things you mentioned. Great video! Thanks

Very good review. I had to have a dedicated GPS. So I bought a Hex ezCan (from A bike thing in the UK) and ran my Zumo XT2 through to it. I removed the phone charger mount under the pillion seat and set it up there. It offers the addition of 4 extra circuits. I have a set of Denali D4’s driving lights, and a B6 break light connected to it as well. Completely customizable. Easy set up. And it allows me to keep all other stock power outlets available on my 1200 Rally Pro. Worth it, Cheers.

Thanks for the excellent video. I'm 76 and live in the US so a video made in the US is much appreciated. It seems that 9 out of 10 vids about the Rally Pro 900 are made in the UK and they just don't have the off-road spaces that we do. I'm looking for a long-range road bike but able to get off the road when I get there. (Key West to The Dempster) Weight is an issue these days so the 900 Tiger is appealing.

nice video...question: I have the same bike and ride off a lot...what is the make of your skid plate. and the plastic piece inside your fender to keep rear shock cleaner. Also purchase info for your head light protector...I just purchased the "Triumph head light protector", but light your way more.If you could provide that info, it would be much appreciated. break squeal is probably because the pads are cold. considering it has a serious set of Brembo brakes on the bike i wouldn't be surprised that they need to warm up to operating temperature

I have the 2019 Street Twin which uses the same Brembo calipers on your Speed Twin and everything that ive read says replacing the pads with EBC HH will fix the brake squeel. Im installing mine tonight.

Ok I got my RP Now. I have some questions. 1. What boots you suggest. I have a buddy who had the Sidi Adventures...and is black and blue heel to knee after a rugged 4 day off road trip and said he's getting far more protective boots, stiffer etc...and more coverage so I was surprised by that. 2. Did you just use the 3M tape on the shock guard or did you drill small hole and use their "plugs". 3. Kickstand extender plate ? 4. No fenda extenda or rear tire huggers etc? off road prob too much much etc for those things right? I added grip puppies, Outback Motortek bashplate, lower guards and side racks, Hepco and Becker hand guards, a clear headlight guard as dealer said to get that as rocks eventually get in the metal ones. I went with Givi top plate and 46L Dolomiti top box very happy with. and Voight riser (30mm higher/20mm back) Quadlock all weather charger on anti vibration thing and adding a Thunderbox PDU to have everything turn on AFTER the engine is one. Figuring out a mount for it currently. If you ever come to SW US or San Diego, look me up for a ride down into Baja and some paragliding if you want too. I do tandems for celebs mostly lol. I was ok no clue how the Heron faired but it was still flying ... How much snow do you there around the lake ? I have a Sister down in Boise and they want us to come WEST...

Given the rather high price tag it’s kind of disappointing that we need to upgrade both suspensions of the bike.

When you dropped the bike on the right side, did the SW motech bar seem to protect higher up on the tank? IOW, did it hold the plastic parts and tank off the ground? Many thanks. subscribed.
