Thank you Vinny! I do like my little buddy and his healing abilities- hoping to see him again at the summit where I might need some help :) . Lot's of bosses for sure and lots of stress haha. Not sure I handle them all like a pro but certainly a man on a mission lol. When I feel up to the task will give the blacksmith with the big sword another try- will be a few tries I have no doubt. Nice to meet you as well! If you mean a veteran of video games, that would be true to some extent as my gaming did start with Pong in the 1970's (the small paddles and faster speeds were hard mode haha). Gaming has come a long way since then and I'm blown away by the games of today. My mission is always to finish games I start and I do enjoy the challenge of the hard difficulty levels, even if it means it takes me more time and more tries than most younger and more skilled gamers. As for fromsoftware games I actually have played a few of them, all long before I ever thought of creating this channel which is why you don't see any of them here: Sekiro, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls and Elden Ring. I finished all of them and enjoyed them immensely. I have not played any of the Dark Souls games though, but have thought about maybe trying Dark Souls 3, which I hear is the better one to start with but not sure. @berserkr yess i know that game good sir because i used to play it on my old PC hahaha and there is no such thing as young and skilful gamers than you because you're a gamer and you finished these games which by the way young gamers don't finish because they don't have the patience nor the mentality to it but you do and you have my absolute respect.

Looking at my play through I feel like I should have clued in a bit sooner that the time to get some major damage was when he was down and hitting him in the head. Yes, almost done with this stressful Pagoda area thankfully haha. The boss was very cool but agree some of his attacks were a bit confusing to figure out. The other stressful part was fighting the camera as he was so big. Got a bit lucky on my last run for the win- but I'll take it :) Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it! Vinny! Sounds like you don't like this area either haha. It's certainly not a feel good kind of place, and I think the game purposefully makes it confusing to increase my stress level lol. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! Your comment got me thinking. From what I recall I do use cloud step, mostly during boss battles, and when I can remember to use it lol. But I'm wondering if you are referring to using it to quickly get through tough areas unseen- which is a pretty cool idea actually and one that I could have used during the chanting red eyed periods in this area to make things easier. Not sure if that is what you were referencing, but I have no doubt I could use cloud step, and probably most of my spells more effectively :)

I feel the same way beastmotoz! Even the normal enemies in this area are no slouches, and the red eyed chant stresses my brain lol. I'm slowly finding my way through but it is tough. Totally agree with you Kratos, Kang Jin with all the flying business was a bit of a pain.I'm really intrigued by your comment about her staff. I haven't checked yet but is there a new staff from her I can craft? Will have to check and see - it would be very cool if there is. Great to see your comment kratos! Totally agree, when things go really bad for a spell what's better than a bit of fun relaxing music to lighten the mood lol. I feel like it could be a good coping strategy in real life as well haha. Very cool- a High 5 back at you for defeating him as well! With all the bosses, include the Yellow Wind Sage in this episode Black Loong was the one that surprisingly tripped me up the most. Too many failed strategies haha. The Tiger was pretty tough for me as well as you saw in the last episode. That I opted to go exploring before grinding to take the Sage down was a really interesting and unusual decision for me, as that is not generally my strategy with taking on main bosses. Maybe somewhere in the back of my mind I knew there was a lot more I needed to explore before moving to the next chapter lol- I don't know. It did work out in my favour to leave him behind for now. Hoping round two with the Sage goes better than my first. See you in the next one. Cheers!

I hear you. The Tiger Vanguard battle was crushing at times and I can totally understand how you might need to take a break and come back to him. There were certainly times where I had the same thoughts, but I'm pretty stubborn and decided to grind it out when it probably would have done me more good to take a break haha. Congrats on getting back into it the next day, finishing him off and getting the win- in the end that's what matters. Interesting note about the Earth Wolf spirit. I will certainly have to give it a closer look at try it out- I've been so used to using baby head that I haven't really given any of the other ones a fair shake. I appreciate the tip, thank you! The non-linear nature of this area certainly caught me by surprise and gave me some challenge determining which way to go first haha. Thankfully I am finding my way through, all be it a bit slowly. I agree, the enemy types are quite varied which I really like and does make the battles that much more fun. Sounds like you had quite the fun time with Lingxuzi :) The important thing is you stuck to it and defeated him. Congrats kratos! From what I've found 9/10 ties is actually pretty good with many of the main bosses in BMW (some of them have taken me many more than 10 attempts) - and I'll be honest I feel I got a bit lucky on my first attempt- so I'm not so sure I'm any better than you. You will see in future episodes that there are probably bosses you did much better than me- everyone's experience is very different. I was one hit from defeating him without it, and I got to youtube and they showed me how. Crazy thing, I had everything I needed to get to the boss to get him, all I had to do was talk with the boar omg.

He's really tough as I can attest so congrats on beating him the hard way- that is normally how I do things too :) I've done more face palms than I care to mention haha. I haven't found the item that nullifies his tornadoes yet either- so I'm guessing if I had pressed on with him it would have taken me at least that many tries, if not more. That said I'm not sure how round two will go with him- it could be many more attempts for me as well. Thank you for sharing your experience, I really appreciate it. Very true. I did go back to the shrines in the first area to access the monkey that upgrades my gourd and going back works quite well- thankfully lol. One thing I have heard is that some of the bosses and quest-lines become inaccessible once you move into the next chapter. Not sure if that is true or not as I haven't tested it out, but still very happy to explore more of this area before going back to the sage for round two and moving on to the next chapter.
