You make a good point about minimal reaction of the raccoon. The mystery glider appears to be small like a leaf or an acorn. I still get hung up on the flight pattern of the rainbow arc that the mystery glider made.

A bat is a very good guess because they are nocturnal and are known to bite raccoons. My wife thinks it could be a sugar glider because of the downward glide of the glowing eye. The mystery still remains.

I heard of that before but I never looked into how many miles of the ice age used to be railroad. Do you know how many miles or what segments? I’d be interested in hearing more of the history.

Eland Wisconsin junction used to be a giant town with rails running through the town the railroad disappeared in the 1990 one of the rails would you go to Nori Wisconsin and then it goes to Hatley and Hatley that’s where the Ice Age Trail starts I think

My wife and I did two trips out in the Pacific Northwest in the past years. We did all 3 National Parks in Washington and Crater Lake in Oregon. Taking a boat tour and hiking to the top of Wizard island was a highlight. Those hiking videos are up on my channel if you’d like to preview them before going. Wisconsin is a special place. The people are so friendly in the Midwest. I have a lot of family draws here in Wisconsin. I’m sorry things didn’t work out with your family. I hope your future is bright and filled with adventure.

My kids sure did enjoy the hike. My wife was enjoying the hike until the large black beetle landed on her. Lol

First you enter Mirror Lake State Park and then drive back to past 3 campgrounds until you reach Cliffwood Campground. The trailhead has a small parking lot near a pit toilet. Enjoy the hike. The rock formations with the views of the lake are very beautiful.

Thanks buddy. I just learned something new about film and editing when you mentioned B-Roll shots. I realized that when I edit short intro clips for my videos it helps engage the viewer and make them want to find out more about the context. I didn’t know that this intro technique had a name to it.

This happened to be a small lake of about 500 acres but there was plenty of space for this jet skier to ride

@@chachi5975 he appears to be looking for a wake-jumping opportunity, but those pull toys with kids riding on can be unpredictable. From my perspective, the wake jump isn't worth potentially running a child down in the water.
